  • Hey, let's trade functionality for fashion!
Color: Green - Indie
Great idea; poor implementation. It's supposed to be a simpler, cleaner chord wheel, and it *almost* achieves that. But, for reasons unknown, the designers chose to use a font and placement of the letters to make it very hard to read. The font and the borders are the same color, and the fonts reach up and touch the top and bottom of the frame, touching the borders, so everything blends together into a big jumbled mess. Also incomprehensibly, the letters are negative space, with the background being the main color. The lower case "F" is so tall and thin they look more like a tiny "T". Stop trying to make it look hip and cool. Make it so that I can glance at it and immediately see the important content that you need to see. ... show more

  • Sadly, music is already as simple as it’s going to be.
Color: Brown - Country
I saw an ad for this thing on Facebook and thought it might be a neat little tool to have. It’s not bad, but in its attempt to keep things simple it’s has lost it’s way in regards to proper scale nomenclature. For instance, I shared a photo with the D scale selected. It shows that the VII would be a Db. While that may be the correct not it is not the correct notation. What is should say is C# becaus there can not be two types of D chord in the D scale... Unfortunately music is just a little more complicated than this tool tries to make it. ... show more

  • Get the Ducks Deluxe Wheel instead
Color: Green - Indie
I’ve had this and the Duck Wheel version and I prefer the duck. This one was nice but the font and contrast bothered me. Something about the layout makes it hard to read and wasn’t as intuitive as it looks in pictures when you put it to practice. It is pretty but I suggest they do less themes and make it bigger by about an inch all the way around and make one that is black and white. Change the font. ... show more

  • Mixing enharmonics is my only negative.
Color: Pure Red
It looks handy and is well made BUT could be very confusing if you don’t know Music theory because it shows sharps and flats in the same key. Yes, I know enharmonics point to the same note but mixing them means this quick reference isn’t that quick. To remedy this issue I would recommend the developers look to see if they could modifying it so only keys with sharps are on one side and flipping it over for keys with flats. I don’t know if you could do that or not but it would be a major improvement. ... show more

  • Good product with a couple suggested improvements
Color: Pure Black
Good product with a couple potential improvements: 1) Should be made out of a coated paper for durability instead of plain card stock. 2) Minimalist design is good but would prefer more info instead of a logo on back/front.

  • Arrived bent
Color: Pink - Pop
This product is cardboard and was not protected in the package. It arrived bent. It still works but I’m not happy with the condition. I agree with some other reviews. Needs a more readable font. Update...replaced quickly and effortlessly. Responsive company! Thank you!

  • Worth the $12 but a small piece of the puzzle for me
Color: Blue - Blues
Been playing 40+ years but new to music theory. Not quite as easy to figure out as I'd hoped. The online how to videos are well made but short, lack depth and detail. I could have used just a little more demo of the wheel showing a guitar. The presenter assumes you have a better baseline understanding. It will all click for me at some point and this will probably make tons of sense at that point. Well made, affordable and shipped quickly. I do recommend this product and look forward to understanding it better. Thank you! ... show more

  • Outline the font and its better
Color: Pure Black
Like other complaints...absolutely the wrong font and size! I ended up outlining the letters with a red pen...helps tremendously.
