I ordered this ring for my wife as an inexpensive surrogate for her expensive jewelry; something she could wear at work that looks nice, but wouldn’t cause her to have a heart attack if she were to suddenly notice it was not on her finger anymore. That’s already happened, but thankfully the lost ring was recovered. Also, to reduce wear and tear on expensive jewelry. Well, needless to say, if I’m going to present my wife with what is essentially costume jewelry, but sure doesn’t look like it, I’m going to have some fun. So, at dinner out, I presented it to her as an early Birthday present. When she opened it at the table, it was not only her look of astonishment, but the ring too that attracted attention; and probably some envy. The other men around probably hated me for it. Little had they all known. The ring is provided in a respectable ring case, but the lettering is stamped, what I thought would be a giveaway. Imagine my surprise when she became positively incandescent upon seeing the ring; she loves it and loves how it looks on her finger. She was so taken aback and became so emotional that I couldn’t in good conscience let her believe that it’s a genuine diamond, and told her so. Honestly, I don’t think it made any difference, nor did it diminish her affection for the ring. And of course, my avowals of love and devotion that accompanied the presentation were sincere, so there is that. She is truly delighted with it. And apparently, so are her friends. My opinion? It truly looks like a stunning piece of jewelry; it sparkles, shines and reflects light brilliantly and has the clarity and D color of a VVS1 diamond. This "THELANDA 2CT Genuine Moissanite or Simulated Diamond Sterling Silver Luxury Vintage Large Side Stones Promise Engagement Ring " is very pretty,the setting is well made and the stone is set well. The ring I received is not a Moissanite,as it does not have the sparkle or color a Moissanite has. I wish the seller would clearly state what stone is in the ring you will receive as a "simulated diamond" and "Genuine Moissanite" are not the same thing. A Simulated diamond can be any number of products,but a "Genuine Moissanite" comes with a certificate of authenticity and marketing information that lays out why moissanite is better than all the rest. I have a number of Moissanite pieces of jewelry and every one has come with supporting documentation. This ring is pretty,if you've always wanted a ring like this you will be happy with it. I loved this ring when I saw it, but I was a little nervous ordering it. I got two different rings in a size 12 from this brand to wear on my middle fingers and they ran a bit small. I wear a size 10 on the ring finger I want to wear this ring on so I was afraid it might run small as well. I honestly started to not get this ring because I couldn't size up in case it was slightly small like my other rings. I'm so glad I got it because it is a true size 10 and fits perfectly. The media could not be loaded. I have several Moissanite & simulated diamond rings that I wear in place of my actual wedding set. I worry about losing my wedding ring or damaging it somehow as I've lost a diamond from it before. I try to save it for special occasions & wear the less expensive but still beautiful pieces for day to day. I ordered this ring in size 6, which is my usual size, & it fits like a 6. The center stone looks very much like a real diamond & the accent stones are realistic, as well. The entire setting of the ring is gorgeous. I love this ring. One issue I see is that due to the style of the setting, it will be difficult to stack another ring or rings with it & have them sit flush against each other. There will be a gap. The center stone does sit rather high up, so it likely will get bumped against things or snagged in blankets/clothing. This ring is pretty, shiny, and true to size. It's comfortable to wear as well. This mentions moissanite in the description and I don't believe it is. I did not have it tested though, so can't confirm. However, I do have a real moissanite Ring and the gem looks different. It reminds me more of CZ.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the simulated diamond version of this ring. The seller offers this same ring in moissanite, but for a different price. This lab created diamonds ring is beautiful and actually very well made. All stones are set well, the band is reasonably thick, it's marked 925-sterling silver under the band. When the main stone is in sunlight, it sparkles! The stones do have some color to them (see pics) indicative of non genuine diamonds, but it's very pretty. I love the raised style and the setting is gorgeous. A word about simulated diamonds from the web: "They may look a lot alike and be produced in a very similar manner but lab created diamonds and cubic zirconia stones are not the same. While lab grown diamonds are considered to be real diamonds, simulant diamonds like cubic zirconia are not." I think this ring is great, and I'm wearing it stacked with my moissanite bands, which adds more sparkle and shine. This ring makes a great travel ring when you don't want to take along your genuine wedding set. This ring is a good value for sterling and simulated diamond. ... show more

This ring setting is phenomenal & the center stone is big! It has an impressive gallery, truly wonderful with decorative side stones! However none of the stones test as moissanite or even lab diamond! Putting cubic zirconia in it makes it WAY overpriced!
