This was recommended by a travel magazine and buzzfeed. I bought this for a beach trip for my iPhone 14. IT WORKED! I was neck deep in the Gulf of Mexico with my phone around my neck taking pictures, making videos, and answering texts. My phone stayed dry and sand free also no worries about leaving it unattended on the beach blanket. It doesn’t have a lot of space for much else when used for the phone. On a rafting trip i used it for the car keys only, same outcome dry and safe around my neck. Very easy to use. Be sure to snap both ends before entering the water. The straps seem strong. Very comfortable. Will buy more for the family on our next rafting trip

Before I begin Please Note: I tested it out in my kitchen first by placing a tissue paper in the case and submerged it for a few hours, as risking my phone is something I am not comfortable with. And I strongly recommend testing it like this before using each time to ensure their are no unseen holes or tears in the case from usage. My GF purchased this on my account for our vacation so it was used on the beach, in the pool and in the open ocean! I also did daily checks for a few minutes in the hotel sink we were at to ensure our active lifestyle did not break it and give me a bad surprise down the road. Pro- Its really waterproof! Worked great in the pool, on the beach and even in the ocean. I took pictures with my iPhone 6S with no issues as well as with my GF's Galaxy S6. Pictures were clear and those that weren't it was nothing a little quick cleaning of the plastic could not fix. I even took pictures in a pool from underwater and they came out great! Cons- MY GF surprised me and decided to go Scuba Diving. I am certified and she is not and was always sacred to try, and thought this would work best. While it protected my phone, I could not unlock, swipe or take pictures. The water pressure sealed it in but it also made it useless to use the touch screen. However in fairness I do not think it was truly designed for that but I am happy to report that it does work even in deep water. Final judgement: For the price ($7.99 at the time of this review) its totally worth it for any vacation or trip to protect your phone from water and other damage. Very useful for pool, beach and shallow water swimming for both water and sand. I recommend it for parents with kids so they can take some nice pics at the water parks and such as it certainly held together the whole week with no issues. I have nieces and nephews I will use this with. If you want something for Scuba Diving, I recommend either another product or placing the phone on video record for the whole dive and just edit the video when you get home. FYI- This review was written only a week after returning from vacation, so the information was fresh in my mind.

JOTO worked awesome!!!!!! Of course, I was nervous at first given that I am a slave to technology and wouldn't know what to do without my iPhone 6+ (LOL). I tested it as recommended. (Be careful removing the piece of paper used to test the case because it might get wet on it's way out and mislead you into believing the case is faulty.) After that, I went on to really make the most of fish-tivites on vacation (as I like to call my water adventures) and sand too. I have video of diving into the water from about 10 ft, swimming kind of deep underwater (about 10ft) to record and screenshot a starfish up-close, sliding into the ocean from a slide on a boat, swinging off a rope, playing around with making slo-mo vids underwater, etc etc. I don't know how to upload videos but I tried to show you guys: the case kept up with me flawlessly. Some reviews complained about the strap. I was careful and made sure I wasn't dragging my phone by the strap underwater or anything of the nature since I was swimming in such deep waters I knew I wouldn't be able to retrieve it if the strapped failed. But I did not have the slightest issue with it and although I was cautious, I was never worried about the strap. The case withstood all my shenanigans and made all my friends jealous. It was so inexpensive, which is uncommon, but it was the best $10 I ever spent. Some tips: 1) The case is kind of like a bag, not an actually case for your phone. I didn't mind it t all, it was perfect for my huge phone (iPhone 6+). I would recommend to put the phone into the case upside down (so not as shown in the picture, the other way). The reason for that being when I first used JOTO to record underwater, sometimes I would get the strap in the video. So, if you put it in upside with the camera at the other end and far from the seal where the strap is, it's less likely to get in the way. 2) My snapchat users, sorry guys but there is no way you can record underwater. Once the water is on the screen, the screen can't sense your touch it so your video will stop. You can snap pics underwater on snapchat using the volume button. 3) That also applies for regular pics and videos. Pictures can only be taken under water using the volume button. I started all my videos above water then submerged, knowing that I can always trim the video, but I typically kept that part because it made the video a lot cooler. Anyway, I'm sure you can also use the volume button to start a video underwater. The bottom line is the water makes it impossible for the screen to know when you're touching it. 4) Finally, don't except everything to be incredibly clear like an underwater camera. You're still using your phone and your using it in a way it was not intended. I would recommend threefold.

These are pretty reliable for keeping water out of the pouch while I'm swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or out in the rain with my phone. I like the flaps that make it relatively easy to open. I will note that when my phone is inside the pouch Face ID doesn't work and it is hard or even impossible to click or type, especially when the case is wet or submerged. But the main idea is to keep the phone dry, and it does just that. With a lot of use these pouches sometimes start to leak a little, so to test it I slip a piece of paper towel or paper into the case, close it, and submerge it fully for a few minutes. If the paper is still totally dry, then you're good to go!
