    • Great for student actors!
My eleven-year-old granddaughter has been bitten by the theater bug, just as I was long (long!) ago. I was thrilled at the time to get my very own stage makeup. This a very basic kit, but learning the basics of stage makeup first is the right way to go, IMO. I have not yet opened the kit. It is for her upcoming birthday. But its clear packaging allow me to confirm that it is complete and undamaged. If anything goes wrong I will be back to edit this review, but otherwise you can assume that the makeup is easy and safe to use. I think that giving my granddaughter this gives me a chance to affirm her newly-discovered world of the theater and to shout my encouragement from the sidelines. So if you have a young actor who would love an extra round of applause, consider this inexpensive entry-level theatrical make-up kit.     • Great kit overall
This is a great kit overall. My son was in a couple of musicals and needed theater makeup. It was a completely new thing for me! I bought this kit and a few other things (some foundation, one or two other things) at the drugstore to round it out. But I'm definitely happy I bought this. It was worth it for the price and has the basics. And, as I did, if you need to add a couple of things you can easily find them at the drugstore. ... show more

    • Not worth the money
I got this for a musical but it looked weird and we ended up just using normal makeup products instead. Since the look of this kit is not the best, and it’s harder to use and doesn’t come with much, I would rather use normal makeup.

    • Good Basic Kit
This is a great basic stage makeup kit. The color appears a bit orange, but looks good from the stage. We found the lip color useful too. I thought the price was a bit high, but my two girls used it through 10 show days each and we have plenty left over to get through another show series.

    • Brush had been used.
When I got this set, I used the base and powder for my great-granddaughters ballet recital. But when I went to use the lip brush, I noticed that it had already been used and "cleaned". Whoever "cleaned" it did not do a good job either. The tip of the brush is what I saw first. Then I notice lipstick down under the metal part of the brush. Also, the paper that contained the brush had residue from lipstick on it. I cannot believe that I bought something that had been used!! Makeup was fine. ... show more
