My niece is a bit advanced and able to read well so I thought she might be able to “level up” even though she is under 8 years old. I ended up giving it to a 9 year old. The game it’s self if not complex and the glasses alone are cool! But the skill of playing the game and using the glasses together should defiantly be for ages 8 and up! This game is so much fun. No learning curves, just put the goggles on everything is upside down and you follow what the challenge is. I'm 64 and my granddaughter is 11 we laughed and had a blast.

Bought this game because my grandkids were coming over. The whole family played the game and had a great time. The adults had just as much problems as the kids and everyone had a good laugh.
