These North Face Boots for kids are adorable and really rugged. They fit true to size and are very well made. I purchased them for my grandson and he loves them! We live on a farm, so he needed something durable, warm, could get wet and was easy to clean all the mud off. They do all of that. I definitely recommend them and will purchase another pair, when he outgrows these.

My 8 year old was comfortable wearing these outside in the snow. It was about 10°F and he shoveled snow with dad for about 20 minutes. Feet were dry and warm. The boots are a little heavy as expected. I did size up to give him room for thick socks.

If you have a kiddo with wide feet, look no further. One of my sons has, quite tragically, inherited his mama’s massively thick flippers. I’ve apologized profusely to him over the years, and I make it my mission to ensure he has high quality footwear that fits. Having owned these myself in the past (in a kids size 7), I knew they would run roomy enough for him. We do size up, but that’s only because of his EXTRA wide width, and is not a fault of these boots. PROS: *Roomy toebox *Fit wide feet well, and XXW if you size up. *Still fit average feet well (I know this because my average width husband has owned a pair) *Warm! They keep his Alaskan toes toasty all winter. *Durable. They’re worn DAILY, for about 6 months a year, in Alaska. This was our 2nd year buying this style, and they‘ve held up. CONS: *Clunky. This is a very large boot. It’s not a con for us... we don’t care; it’s not a problem. But, for some people it might be. *The lacing system. Yes, my kid can tie his shoes... but on snow boots that are taken on and off a lot (as is the case in cold climates), it’s a pain. Also, the laces are always coming untied (though this could be remedied by buying different laces). I’ve ordered stretchy no-tie laces as a solution. *Also, when I owned these, I felt that the ankle was a little too rigid. However, my son has not complained about that. FINAL VERDICT: If your kid has wide feet, BUY THESE. You just won’t find a wider winter boot (we tried Kamik wide width and they were a flop). HOWEVER, If your kid has narrow or average feet, consider something else (my narrower son loves his Merrells and for kids unable to tie laces, we like BOGS).

I have never written an Amazon review but these boots have been so spectacular I feel compelled. I bought these boots a few days before a trip to Yosemite. Initially the weather called for clear skies but by the time we were planning out our packing list, a winter storm warning was in full effect. I purchased these boys boots in a boys size 6 medium, I am a 7.5 in women's shoes. I was worried they may not fit because sometimes kids shoes are too narrow. They fit PERFECTLY and were the WARMEST, COMFIEST and most weatherproof boot I have ever worn. I wore these on 3 different snow hikes (10-12 inches of snow) totaling 20 miles. My feet were dry and cozy the whole time. Didn't even have to stop to tie my boots. North Face apparel is generally amazing and these are yet another product that holds up to the name. Also, for $70 these are an absolute steal! If you are on the fence get right off and BUY THESE BOOTS.

The only reason i didnt give it t stars is because the sole looks unfinished, its red and they shouldve but a leather material over it with a tag that says North Face.. but other than that, these boots are built for the winter and i cant wait to wear em in the snow!

this has been a great boot for my son. warm waterproof and a basically all around boot. our only issue is the the opening is not big enough and getting them on in a challenge even with a shoe horn. without that the boots are almost impossible to get on. but when on hey are great.

I buy Northface Boots for my son every year. I love them! These unfortunately didn’t fit. They have cushion on the sides which makes the inside very narrow. My son has a wide foot. Unfortunately, I bought these early as a Christmas gift so by the time we opened them, no returns or exchanges. (Long Sigh) I usually have NO problems with NF Boots fitting. They are a great shoe! With these, first time they didn’t fit correctly.

I purchased these boots for my son. He is a size 61/2 so I purchased a size 7 since he will be wearing 2 pairs of socks on them blistering winter days. The boots fit great with just the right amount of space at the toes. He likes them and says they are very comfortable and warm. The boots also come with I think fleece insulation inside in which my son says is very warm. These boots are also waterproof. My son likes them so I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
