The coat meets all the quality requirements for a North Face jacket but be careful with size. The size tag indicated Slim Fit. Slim fit large was tight in the hips. I was disappointed with the fit as I really liked the style of the coat. I am not sure if all sizes are cut for a slim fit. For those that prefer slim fit coats, this would be perfect.

I purchased this coat because I own several North Face Vests and Thermoball Jackets. I needed a longer coat since my Vests and Jackets only come to my waist. The moment it arrived when we were in the 20’s and 30 degrees weather I put it on to run some errands and it definitely kept me very warm and it was extremely comfortable. I like that the hood is detachable and that it falls below my knee. The only issue I have is that the back bottom of the jacket doesn’t have as much goose down as the rest of the jacket so it’s flat in that area. Other than that this is a very stylish and warm coat. I took a star away for this reason as it would have received five stars had the goose down been even throughout the coat.

I was looking for a really nice warm coat to wear to work. This one is warm and well made. I wasn’t used to double zippers on some Northface coats. My Northface jacket didn’t have that feature, but it’s a lightweight jacket. It’s a nice feature, zippers are sturdy. It’s very comfortable, not bulky. I’m very pleased with this coat, it was worth the money.

I didn't see anywhere in this product's description the term "slim fit", but the XXL size I ordered has that tag on it. Bought it as a gift... Hope it fits. Other than that. The coat seems to be what I ordered.
