Bought these dolls for my 15 month great granddaughter. At first I ordered the black ones because she is bi-racial. I wanted something similar to her skin color but they were to dark. I returned them and ordered the Hispanic ones as they were more her coloring. They were on the small size, smaller then I actually wanted but she handled them comfortably. I don’t recommend giving a small child the pacifier because they are definitely a chocking hazard so I put those away. Then again I can’t see an older child playing with such a small doll. After having 3 kids, 9 grandkids and presently 3 great grandchildren I wouldn’t recommend this doll for over 2 years old. I think they would get bored with it very quickly. Even my 15 month old got bored with it quickly. The hats come off very easy and she would get frustrated trying to put it back on because the head is so slippery it’s just not something a small one can do. I don’t say nay on this but I don’t say yeah on it either. At the time I couldn’t find anything else so I got it. ... show more

I got a pair of these for my niece's two little girls. I chose the Hispanic dolls because they struck me as being cuter- I can't see teaching kids that their dollies have to be the "right" color. One little one loves pink and the other loves blue, so it was easy to say who got which. They absolutely adore them, especially since it was just a surprise- not birthday nor Christmas, the gift just showed up on their doorstep one day. I donated the dolls to a Santa Claus shop.I liked them because I could get them in a darker skin so they would support diversity as requested by the charity. The dolls were much smaller than I expected but looked very sweet and cuddly. They were a perfect size for a 2-3 year old. Easy for them to carry since there are two dolls. I didn't think they were 13 inches but I didn't take them out to measure them. The box was 9 inches tall and the dolls were in a sitting position. I hope the children liked them. ... show more
