This lotion smells AWESOME! It's THE best vanilla scented lotion I have ever owned, and I've owned a lot of them. It's a little bit thinner lotion, so a lot goes a long way and it's not sticky, which I love. My husband thinks I bought it just to drive him crazy (in a good way). Not kind of like brown sugar or nothing like brown sugar, but like if you took brown sugar and rubbed it on your body brown sugar. I was actually very pleasantly surprised. Also, it's a bit of a thinner consistency but most definitely moisturizes the skin. And the scent sticks around for a long while. I like supporting small businesses because they usually seem to have the best products. I am an older woman and as I have aged, I have developed more allergies and sensitivities to chemicals, fragrances, and even so called natural products with essential oils. I am highly allergic to essential oils! I read all the good reviews and decided to try this, and I am so glad I did. I have not been able to use several other fragrance free, hypoallergenic brands of creams or lotions on my face, but I am loving this stuff. I am putting it on my whole body, and it works for me better than any other brand I've tried. I like the texture of this but the baby powder scent is very strong. For that I had to take off a star. After using just a pump the scent was very strong and lasted a long time but was too strong for me. I would have to mix it with a non scented lotion in order to use it. But I would recommend it if you like a strong scent of baby powder ... show more

I am 65 and have had dry skin since my 20's. So have had to be very selective of the product I use. This product is rich and extremely effective. Love the scent. Is subtle but lasts all day. No need for any other fragrance. This has become my go to body lotion. Just ordered two more bottles!
