These are both child size. Very child sized. There is nothing in the hat (wire, plastic, cardboard, etc.) to make it stand up, or to the side. It's just a conical hat. The fabric is thin. Inside the hat is a smaller mesh cap. (So the hat doesn't pull down over your face/head.) There's also an official Zelda tag. (TM 2015 Nintendo) The ears are soft, flexible. There is a small bit of printed info inside the ears which doesn't show through to the outside. The ears are very tricky to put on, and they fall off easily during wear. They also set flat against your head--they don't stick out to the sides. You will most likely need to use some sort of skin-safe adhesive to attach these ears to the wearer's ears if you want them to stay on for any length of time. ... show more

This was a hit for Halloween but the hat does fit small. My 4 year old wore it but it was tight.

This hat is tiny!!! It does not fit my 8 year old daughter or my 5 year old niece. Maybe my 2 year old niece can be a Christmas Elf or something. But this is certainly a waste for my daughter's Halloween Link costume
