    • It's an interesting book but alot of the pictures are blurry or not there.
It's a decent read, but the pictures and some of the wills are blurry or not complete.

    • I LOVE This Book
This book is so unusual in that it was written by well-educated members of the Jarvis family in the late 1870's, after conducting genealogical research likely impossible to unearth today. Even though these Jarvis's are not direct ancestors, they are related to one branch of my family. It was fascinating to learn about their traits and character, some of which I definitely recognize in the members of our family on that side, so-to-speak. Even if you aren't a Jarvis or have one in your family, the information within is so full of specific historical detail that none of us today have learned from history books or lessons. This is the real tale of the settling of our nation, the Revolution, and the Civil War, in the words of those who lived it. I recommend this book to anyone interested in history. ... show more
