I have fine, thin shoulder length hair and unfortunately these were too large for the sparse amount of hair on my head. I would love to see a smaller version of this.     • Didn't Work For Me- But Not a Bad Product
This set of hairpins just didn't work for me. I have long fine hair, if you have thick hair these should work much better for you. They just slid right out of my hair not even a pretend second of holding. The pins are gold, feel and look nice.

I bought these for my daughter, who has very long, thick, wavy hair. Two pins is all it takes to hold her hair up all day. Nice finish on the pins and no hair and scalp irritation.

These hairpins are made of smooth, sturdy metal and glide easily into updos without snagging. Unfortunately, in my hair they also tend to glide easily out of updos. I have fairly thick, wavy, waist-length hair, and I struggle to get these to hold, which is a shame since they are quite pretty. The satin finish means the gold is slightly subtle rather than blingy, which means these could look nice for either casual or formal wear. ... show more

Installation/setup: Use to pin up your hair. Make a twist in the back and put the pin through to hold your hair in a bun. Final thoughts: These are really nice and work well. The color is good, they have a nice finish and they are sturdy. I have really long hair and wear it in a bun all the time. I used to use scrunchies exclusively, but they can pull or tear your hair out if they get tangled. I like these, they stay in when put in properly and come out easily when you want to let it down. There are videos on youtube to show the different ways to use these and they are easy to follow. These are larger than I expected, probably 4 or 5 inches long. They are sleek and have a shiny finish. They seem of very good quality but unfortunately did not work for my hair. My hair is about shoulder length but pretty thin and fine. These were just too large for the amount of hair I have. If pinned on the looser side they fell out of my hair if I worked them in tighter they pulled uncomfortably on my fine hair. I think these would work great for women with thick hair. ... show more
