I got this for a friend who loves the Golden Girls. It's a small hardcover book, about the size of your hand from the wrist to the end of your longest finger. The illustrations are cute and I love the rhyming aspect like the Night Before Christmas. This is based on a Christmas episode of the show. I really liked the book, but the ending was abrupt and I didn't like how it mentioned "flashback episodes" as they're sitting at the table talking. Why would a book mention episodes of the show? Kinda strange ending, but the rest of the book was good. ... show more

I am not sure if you don't watch Golden Girls (which if you don't, I'm so sorry but you are seriously missing out!) if you would find this book good because it references things that happen in a variety of episodes of the show, to the rhythm of "Twas the Night Before Christmas." It is funny, well written, keeping to the original and to Golden Girls, and the art is well done and fun to see. I recommend this to anyone who loves the Golden Girls! ... show more
