i might have actually worn this dress in the 80s ... except in a solid color. somehow i missed the part about it being a print, i don't hate it i was just really surprised. i thought it was just a soft solid pink but in reality it is a bit more of a pink white acid wash. the fit is almost as expected. curvy girls rejoice ... especially bustier ones because this dress is made with you in mind. it's fun and cute - good for a theme party or just for just a day / evening night out when you want to throw on a retro look. you can dress it up with a cute pair of sandals but it will also look super cute with a pair of pull-on sneakers or high-tops and jean jacket. it's an easy dress to have some fun with in the spring and summer.

While I like this dress, I'm not 100% on it. The structure of the dress is decent, but the fit is just a little off on me and it makes me look a little juvenile with the pattern. The pattern in the photos looks a little more like a subtle floral, but in person, it looks more like a pinky acid-wash kind of design and the floral is less distinct. I think this would be perfect for someone in their teens, but it looks a bit too young to be flattering on anyone in their 20's and up. I'm 5'4 and 110lbs and I ordered the XS which fits my waist okay, it's just more of a teen style than what I thought it would be.

Not going to lie, I expected to be disappointed in this dress. I have a 42G chest and the XXL fit like a glove. The dress is fitted but has ample stretch without feeling cheap. The material feels silky but strong and durable - I can’t begin to explain how comfortable it is! As someone who has a big size body and overly large chest, clothes I like are SO hard to harder find them fit. When I put this dress on, I almost cried for how pretty I felt in it. My husband loves me in it too! I’m ordering all the colors and I hope this line keeps this fit in mind for all of their tops! Love!!

This dress arrived as expected. It's color and style is as pictured in the product photos. It fit true to size and is comfortable to wear. It's well made and the material is more formal than casual. So, it's not exactly for every day wear. But a formal event with a more casual dress code. That's my opinion anyway. I think it's well made and looks great. I can recommend it!

I was on the cusp of large and was initially going to get a medium, until I read the reviews saying to size up. I'm not saying that a medium would have definitely worked because I think this dress just has really flawed construction. The straps come in too far. They won't match up with a bra, so you'll have to wear it without one or go strapless. If you get it snug enough then no bra should be fine because the material is thick. There is a very stretchy back, so there is absolutely no reason to size up. There is too much material in the front and at the top on the sides. However, it was still semi snug to zip up. but the back does stretch so if you have help, then I don't think it would be an issue. I think if you have sewing skills, you could take in the sides to make it fit better and make the straps sit better on the shoulders. Only then would this dress fit me properly. So to those saying the bust is too small, I think it just doesn't fit right, but not because it's small. The bodice point also comes down low and the sides high; thus the material sticks out almost like an empire dress that makes you look fat/pregnant. This is also why you shouldn't size up because then you'll have too much material and that look will be accentuated. I'm on the very cusp of the size chart for large in bust and waist. I wear a 34E bra. I have slightly larger hips around 41inches. I'm 5'10". I will say that the color is GORGEOUS and the material is EXCELLENT. The color is almost a shimmering or satiny navy though it is neither satin nor does it have sparkles. The quality of the cotton is fantastic. It's heavyweight, but not heavy feeling. The length is appropriate and not too short at all. And they've included straps that you can adjust. This dress should be perfect and awesome, but for me it just falls short. The price is currently $69.90. I can see why it is expensive because of the fabric, but I think they need to redo the bodice to make it fit better and to make it more flattering.

I'm between a small and medium right now and picked up a small. I'd recommend sizing up if you happen to be larger chested, because there's not a lot of breathing room up there, if you know what I mean! Otherwise, it's an incredibly flattering and feminine dress that will be perfect for summer and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I love the waistline, it's very flattering to all figures and curves!

Very cute dress! The smocking/elastic on the back makes it a very comfortable fit. Because it's cotton, it's also very easy on the skin and breathable -- very important for when I have to walk to work in the summer hear. The dress seems very well-made and can easily be dressed up or down. I've worn it with a fancier wrap for the evening and with a plain tee under it during the day, and it never seemed out of place. I think it is probably better for those who are smaller on top. I am an A cup and it fits very well. I'm sure the elastic in the back allows for some flexibility, but I would probably size up if you're on the bustier side. I wasn't going to get this because I didn't really need *another* black dress, but I'm glad I did. I would buy from this company again -- I might even have to get this dress in another color!

So when I put the stress on, I was really surprised to see that it actually is really generous through the top and if you have small breasts, you are definitely gonna struggle if you’re a size 16/18 to fill the top up as it is I’m going to have to do Some sewing to make it fit right I probably could’ve size down so I guess my recommendation would be that if you’re between sizes you should definitely size down on this one so that it fits better Other than that, I love the pockets is that really lovely navy blue and it’s an appropriate length and the straps are even nice and thin and adjustable is stretchy so it’s forgiving and remember down
