I can’t tell you how impressed I am with The Drop! First, the size inclusivity is unmatched and available on most garments! This sweater is fitted through the body, not tight but not big either. It fit like it was made for me other than the sleeves could have been a bit longer. For reference, I am 6 ft tall and have long arms. The material felt like it was way more expensive than it was. The Drop isn’t cheap when it comes to price but is a deal for the quality! This sweater is a nice weight for fall. It gives you that little bit of warmth on a cool morning but you aren’t hot later in the day. It is a heavier weight ribbed cotton type material that is soft but holds its shape. I look forward to many future Drop purchases!

My first notice was the fabric which feels amazing! Material feels high quality and the black color is vibrant. The sleeves are my favorite part of the shirt because it’s different and not too puffy. The downside is the shirt on the model does not look like a crop top! I am top heavy, and this shirt is not for me, but I will make it work. If your body looks like the model then this shirt is for you.

I love how flattering this top is. The scoop neckline is elegant without being too low and the sleeves add a nice touch that makes it feel dressier than a basic long sleeve. The fabric has a good amount of stretch and is comfortable to wear all day. I’ve worn it with jeans for a casual look and tucked into a skirt for something more polished and it worked both ways. The fit is true to size and it holds up well after washing. This is one of those staple pieces that can be dressed up or down and still looks great.

I ordered 4 of these in various colors and different sizes at various times. So my review is mixed overall. For reference, I’m 5’5” and 105lbs. The page recommended I get a small but the small was too large overall. The shoulder area was too wide, even though I have relatively wide shoulders. Also the fit around the shoulders were odd. One side poofed out and forward in a very not-flattering way so that one of my bra straps showed no matter how I shifted it around. Back this one went. The neckline plunge down, and a bit unevenly. It was most definitely too low cut for me. The torso/waist area fit fine for me. I exchanged it for an XS. The olive green one mostly fit pretty well but one of the shoulders had the same uneven fit problem as the S, but less pronounced. The torso fit slightly tighter but still fit. It was cropped a bit shorter. It’s at a bit of an awkward in-between cropped and hip-length for me. It hit just at my navel. So probably better with high waisted pants or low rise pants depending on what you’re going for. I wound up returning this one as well because of the same shoulder gap issue. The black XS fit the best. I didn’t have the shoulder gap problem, it was still slightly shorter in the torso (but not actually cropped) than I prefer but workable. I do love the style with the square neckline and the lantern sleeves. I kept this one. I also got the white one which was noticeably smaller at the same XS size. It was too small for my preference. It was more fitted which I could wear but I just don’t like it that form fitting. Regardless it was inconsistent with the other two XSs. It was more cropped, clingy and smaller overall. The material has some give but not a lot. But it’s also quite substantial, so the material feels like it has a slight bit of compression ability. Depending again on how you like your clothes to fit. I would’ve preferred the length and torso fit of the S but the more narrow shoulder and shorter neckline of the XS. I think the material is perfect for autumn. In conclusion, I think the fit posed a challenge to whoever Amazon uses to manufacture these tops and resulted in plenty of inconsistencies. Had I not order a bunch of these in various colors, I wouldn’t have known. My suggestion is to order a few of these and try them out to see which ones fit the best if any. I also included a photo of the olive green one because I think the photos they used are a bit off in color. The photos make it look more like a yellowish split pea soup color, but it’s a true olive green in person. Hope this helps!

I am very happy with this blouse. It is a nice thick material that isn’t too clingy and doesn’t make your bra strap obvious in the back. I normally wear a size 6 top. I wear a 34B bra. The Medium was skin tight through the torso. I exchanged it for a a size Lsrge, and I love it! It is a flattering slim fit, but not tight. I love the sleeves.

Made for someone with a body like the designer having a short torso. I am tall and have a long torso and this hit at my belly button and felt like a mid drif shirt rather than to my hips. Quality was nice and the sleeves were a great addition to give it some personality and flare. Love Lucy’s style and eye for clothing but I need a little more fabric to cover my stomach without compromising room for my chest.

This review is for the olive green sweater. The color is much richer than it appears in the listing. I like that the sweater is nicely fitted, but I would recommend sizing up, particularly if you have a larger bust. The shape of rhe sleeves is particularly nice, smooth at the upper arm but ballooning out at the wrist before gathering into a fitted cuff. It gives the appearance of a sweater, but the fabric is smoother in the inside, and therefore not in the least itchy. That said, the fabric has enough weight to be a good transitional sweater - not cozy warm, but not thin, either. I’ll be getting a lot of wear from it in the cooler months.
