Good quality fabric that was not too heavy. It washed well and I ironed it after it was hung dry. It wrinkles kind of easily when worn, but not too bad. The only complaint I have is that it is weirdly tight in the chest. I usually wear a large and the chest is a little tight. I'm only a 36B so if you have a larger chest you'll need to size up.

Cute dress that is a good length for petites. Material is thick and not see through at all. It is lined and might be a little warm in hot summer months. I am 5'3 and it hit a couple of inches above my ankles. It was very tight on my 34-D chest so I don't recommend if you are heavier on top.

STATS: -5'3" -155-160lbs -36C-D I am wearing a Vanity Fair beauty back bra in 36D, I believe it is a minimizer. The bust is at maximum capacity but comfortable, I would not advise any bigger than 36D in a Large. This dress is not as horrifically unflattering as most tent dresses, I actually like it and usually have trouble pulling off this style. Lightweight chambray denim material, a maxi dress at my height. I paid $36 and I think it was worth it. I have the blue stripe coming next. This will be my 4th of July go to. I am wearing Easy Spirit red paisly sandals. Those and the bra can be found on Amazon. This is a great hot and humid weather dress!

I absolutely love this dress! It’s the perfect length for petites, especially after it shrunk a bit in the dryer (mine shrank about 1" in length, which was ideal). The fabric feels soft and silky, and while I initially thought it might wrinkle easily, it actually doesn't, making it great for travel. The straps are adjustable in a clever way — not on the strap itself, but using buttons hidden on the back, which gives it a sleek, clean look. My only gripe is that the dark green color I bought started fading after just one wash, which other reviewers also mentioned. The seams developed a slightly faded look. Because of that, I decided to get the chambray and white colors, and those have been perfect — no fading at all. I'm so happy with these that I ended up buying three colors!

This was my first experience ordering clothing on Amazon. To say I was skeptical about the quality I could expect is an understatement. What a pleasant surprise! Here’s what you need to know about this dress: This garment is well-made, and the fabric has a substantial heft to it. With the exception of the black eyelet version, this dress is not lined and doesn’t need lining. This dress has REAL pockets, not the useless for-show-only kind. The straps are adjustable (three “settings” using buttons on the inside of the back of the dress). This dress features an empire waist with a full, flowing skirt. Very forgiving fit in the waist, tummy and butt. As others have noted, there is less give in the chest. I disagree with reviewers who stated that there is no give at all. The elastic in the back of the dress provides about two inches of give. So, select your dress size according to your bust size. I am about 5’ 5”, 150 pounds, 38C bra. The medium fits me perfectly and I have adequate room to wear a bra underneath. The dress is ankle length on me. For the reviewer who complained that the dress is ankle length: this dress is billed as a maxi dress! I disagree with reviewers who stated that this dress is too heavy and therefore too hot to wear in the summer. The fabric is Tencel, which beats cotton when it comes to breathability. For the reviewer who complained that the color faded with washing: Tencel actually holds color very well and fading hasn’t been an issue for me. To prevent fading, turn the dress inside out and cold-water wash with a detergent for dark or colored clothes. This versatile dress can be dressed up or down. Paired with a cardigan, it is an appropriate casual look for my office. But it works just as well for a trip to the beach or the farmers market. All in all, a very good value. P.S. I wish this dress came in a shorter length, but it doesn’t. The workaround: I just removed the bottom tier of the dress and voilà, knee length dress! I did this with two of the five dresses I purchased. Save the bottom tier! You can use the fabric to make a coordinating scrunchie, belt or handbag. You can even glue the fabric onto a plain clutch. (Search Amazon for purse frames and fabric glue.)
