Bottom Line: After being away from collecting for a while, this may be sucking me back in. Overall, the box provided a good mix of classic and newer titles. It is good enough that I will maintain my subscription. I’m viewing it as a way to review and catch-up on the lines that I know and love, as well as an easy and economical chance to read new or lesser known storylines. Condition: Comics were nicely packaged and in great condition. The stack was bookended with stiff cardboard carrying Comic Garage logo to ensure that they weren’t damaged during shipping. They had obviously previously been bagged and boarded, which is a must for me. I also enjoyed the bonus sticker that they sent me with the company’s cool logo. That’s going on the luggage so I stop picking up other people’s stuff at the baggage carousel. Comics: I signed up for both DC and Marvel Comics and received a good mixture of mainstream, popular comics and more obscure storylines (pictures attached). As a long-term Deadpool fan, it warmed my heart to have a Deadpool issue, especially one from after I stopped collecting (around 2010 – I know I have a lot to catch up on). I was also pretty stoked to get a classic 1991 X-Men #1 issue written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jim Lee – two of the greats. I also finally got a chance to read a Buffy comic. I’d always heard good things, but had never taken the final step. It was a good read. While I won’t be collecting all of the lines, I did fall down a rabbit hole, spending hours searching some of the story lines from the other comics. I will say that my favorite of the batch was undoubtedly Captain America # 405, where, after fighting a hypnotically controlled Wolverine, he turned into a werewolf . . . Capwolf. I kid you not. This subscription box makes me so happy every time it arrives. I have been an avid comic collector for forever and this subscription box allows me to revisit my favorite characters and story arcs on a monthly basis. The price is incredibly reasonable for the value of what you receive. Multiple times now I have gotten a few issues from a story arc so that I can read the arc all together. I also love that I get classic comics as well as more recent issues. Another great thing is the variant covers I receive unexpectedly!! I have had great experiences contacting the seller when I want to make a change to the box. I’ve also given it as a gift to a new comic collector who loved it as well! Can’t say enough good stuff about this box. Highly recommend!!!

The media could not be loaded. So I have the marvel ultimate app so I normally read the books on my phone or iPad however I lose touch with that authentic feel of a comic book so I sea chef for a decent blind box and found this. I decided nothing was off limits because I’m in the beginning stages of collecting so I went for marvel dc and whatever else. So the standouts to my box for me just entertainment based was the number 1s of Marvel Legacy, Ghosts number 1, Civil War 2, secret Avengers number 1, and Iron Patriot number 1 my most surprising one was The Walking Dead number 163 for 25 cents. Whatever the cost I haven’t read them yet so starting at 163 might not be a good idea ha ha I’ll keep it for later, as much as I am a huge fan of the Harley Quin animated show Idk how the comics are so I guess I’ll see here when I read this Harley Quinn issue. I absolutely love that they threw in a Batman not only a Batman but “Batman the gift part 1” super excited. Not a huge Green Lantern fan mainly because of the movie and I haven’t read much of his comics because when I was about too the movie came out.. maybe this comic will open the door… last but not least is the Teen Titans: Rebirth it’s the first book in the series so that’s good for me. In conclusion I must say I got a way better pack than I thought just wish I would have got 1 or 2 Punisher, and 1 Daredevil. Maybe even Moon Knight or Black Adam ha ha. There’s always next month the overall value of this box was $40.25 cents. Now every book was above a dollar accept the walking dead which was 0.25 cents, honestly though idk I’m paying for the monthly blind box excitement, I’m paying for other humans to set up a comic book box for me so I don’t have to go through the dreadful experience of not being able to make up my mind, I can already tell you this blind box program will not only force me to read more but will also allow me to read and venture into more comic books that may have no sounded interesting and who knows maybe they will Be. For first time users I suggest doing the 10 issues see how you like it then go for the 24 bit whammy!

Very very happy ..got cable 1# , a captain America 1# variant + Civil war 2 1# and the old Xforce 2 bagged w trading card and all titles were relevant to what I selected.very happy can't wait for next month!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My husband & I loved comics as kids, we both still have all of our 70s classics (Archie’s, Marvel, Star Wars…) But the pandemic, and Kevin Feige’s vision of the MCU, has thrown us back into the graphic novel world with a fervor. I wasn’t sure where to start my journey, so when I saw the Comic Garage on here, I thought “Why not?” 10 months in…and each month I start to salivate when I know my next package is set to arrive. And now that I’m finding the characters and storylines I’m drawn to, I’ve requested more of that ilk, and less of the ones I found to be “meh”. The Comic Garage does not disappoint. I love being a nerd. Thanks CG for helping me achieve that process.
