They do run skinny like leggings and I think a bit on the long side (or maybe my kid has short legs), but I appreciate the little extra material so I can bunch it up at the knee for better mobility. I bought these in 4t for my daughter when she was 3 and wearing 3t mainly so she can grow into them and save us a little bit of time to get her clothes but now she's 4 and let me tell you these pants are technically leggings and true to size. I sized up on purpose and ima need to buy her a bigger size but she likes them cause they're comfy and not thick, not to thin either where you have to worry about seeing through her clothes and they're stretchy like jeggings but not as stretchy as we would like.

My daughter could wear dresses every time of the year! So for the cooler months I need some legging to put underneath. These are great! The black and grey color fits with almost any dress. It's not a thick material. For a cold day I'd rather put something with fleece on her but for the days when she's literally just inside or it's not very cold, These will do just fine. They're fairly soft and I've washed them multiple times now and haven't noticed them getting smaller (I do wash cold though). I chose a 5T for my 4 1/2yo to give some extra use out of it and it wasn't too long or anything.

I ordered the 6-9 month black and gray 2 pack to have neutral colors for my girls next size up, and they are smaller than the 3-6 month pants that she's currently wearing. Good soft legging material, seems like decent quality, but runs really small. I haven't washed them yet to see shrinkage, but if they do shrink then we'll get no use out of them at all.
