Played this with friends , adults only and had a blast. I got our own copy and our kids love it. For family play we didn’t run into anything inappropriate however our kids didn’t always know what the things on the card were (movies, etc). We like that it came with a dry erase card so you can make your own and we’ve done kids shows, Disney movies, kids characters, etc. We like to play it with my parents and brother & SIL. Lots of laughter & memories with this game.

We play a lot of games so I thought this would be a fun one to add to collection. I am still on the fence about this one. GAMEPLAY: You deal out cards and at least one person will be the chameleon each round. The other players get key decryption cards. Someone rolls 2 dice which determine the column and row for the "key", such as 2D. Players then look at the same selected themed card and secretly go to column 2, row D and find the word(s) clue listed. The chameleon will not know which word clue is correct because their card just says "you are the chameleon", without the answer key. Each player must say a ONE word description for the themed word on the card. For example it might be a theme card about tv shows and the key may direct you to the clue answer of "The Office". Players may give answers such as Michael, Paper, and Comedy. The chameleon would have to say a word without knowing the clue. They can try to guess a word and blend in without being obvious they don't know the actual tv show others are describing. After everyone has given their word answer, all players try to guess and vote on who is the chameleon. Once the actual chameleon is revealed he/she has a chance to try to guess the actual clue (The Office). You can keep score to determine a winner based on various factors. PROS/CONS: The game was fun and fast paced. After playing a thoughtful strategy game, this was a fun brain break. That said, it can be challenging for non-chameleons to come up with a word fast enough. Also, the play order for each round could mean the chameleon goes first which can make it obvious. Also, we played with 4 people and weirdly one person ended up with the chameleon card WAY more than anyone else. Finally, the answers on the themed cards might be a challenge for various age groups if some of the players have never even heard of the answer. We had mixed feelings after playing it, but we did play several rounds so I think it was worth it. Overall, if you read this far and are confused how to play or completely bored by this review, I definitely recommend this game.
