This was one of a few games we purchased as gifts for our grandsons, 9 & 12. It turned out to be one of the real home run gift ideas of the holiday season as both they and we (their grandparents) have had a riotous time playing one round after another over a few sessions during the holiday break. Easy to play, no game board to have to slowly/painfully navigate one's way around, just a fun playful experience for everyone. Good with only 4 players, even better with more. This game is so so fun. Easy to play. Our family is loving playing this since we got it. We have been playing with 4 of us, mom, dad, 14.5 yr old and 11.5 yr old. Look up a you tube video on how to play if you need to so maybe the rest of my review make better sense. Some of the cards like “authors” my kids have a harder time with.. for example they don’t know who Jane Austen is.. or most of the others on that card, maybe 3 of them, but most of the cards have plenty of things they do know. One of the cards subjects is tv shows and sex and the city is listed and my 14 yr old thought it very inappropriate- (it made me laugh) he doesn’t know what the show is or about, so we just took that card out LOL. I bought this game bc my 14 yr old asked me too. He had heard it was a lot of fun. And now I can’t wait to take it to our next grown up game night with friends!!! It would be more fun with more people, but is still fun with 4 of us. The only problem I think is with more people you’d have to have more room which would mean sitting further away from the subject card and the card is kinda small, like 4x6 ish. I would recommend to anyone who like fun games, make you laugh, easy to understand. I wish it came with more cards. Probably there is an expansion pack but I haven’t looked yet ... show more

Easy to learn but players can always get better at deception techniques. A little different for younger players mixing with adults so makes family play challenging. Good game and value.

This game was so much fun the first time I played it with my friends that I just had to get it myself to add it to my game board collection. It’s a game of deceit, so anyone who gets chameleon has to have a pretty good poker face when it comes time to play. I’ve become quite strategic on how to play the game by now and I can see how there could be plenty of strategies to win as the chameleon or as a non-chameleon. Definitely a game to play if you have fun in competition since you may have to give explanation for your answer if you’re picked to be put on the chopping block. It’s a game that makes you think about how to be as vague as possible about a topic while also being on the nose. Therefore, it has a fairly difficult level to it, but you will definitely find joy in the challenge and have a laugh with what you or others come up with. The quality of the game is good and overall great value for your money, in my opinion. ... show more

My kids still break this one out a year or more after getting it. Sustainable fun. Can be played by children 6 and up too in my household. It's a pretty fun game and fun for adults too. It is pretty quick too. Many cards so that you can have loads of games and not repeat (which will make sense once you crack open the game and see how it is set up). The game is that everyone gives a word that has to do with the topic, but one person is the chameleon, which means that they won't know what the topic of the game is and have to fake their way through. Everyone tries to figure out who is the chameleon. Very good game to gift and seem to have few fights in this one. :P ... show more
