I have followed Peter Chan's YT channel for some time and appreciate his expert but un-intimidating teaching style. With this compact little book I have all the info at my fingertips. It starts with all the basics of pruning and shaping (total newbie here) The info is very well organized and consistent for all plant types, many clear photos on strong water-resistant paper (I'll take it to my greenhouse). I love this book. It's got great information with really nice pictures. It has pretty much all of the information needed in regard to bonsai's. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone trying to get into Bonsai or even if you just enjoy a book with beautiful pictures.

The book itself is ok. I was looking for something a little more in depth. It’s has good info but nothing you can’t look up in 2 sec. It is nice to have some of my trees care requirements on hand.
