This scent smells absolutely amazing - my favorite among the many shaving creams I've tried over the years. It's what you might expect of a OUD scent, but if you've never smelled this before, it's woody, spicy with a bit of bergamot and some other things. It's a very manly scent, if that's what you are looking for. Anyway, the lather becomes thick and rich very quickly, and lasts quite awhile. Also, I've dropped the container a few times and it hasn't cracked or shattered on my bathroom floor like certain other ones have. Seems like a well made product in every respect. I know it looks expensive at first glance, but notice the size is 5oz! That's larger than average - in fact it's about double the size of some competing products. So all in all, it's not really as expensive as it seems, and in my opinion is also the best shaving cream I've used. ... show more

    • Smells Amazing
I was really happy with the smell. It complements the polo oud scent I wear sometimes. My only consternation is that it doesn't lather as well as Taylor of Old Bond street did. I'm going to go back to using a bowl and not face lathering, and see what happens.
