Drapery, with all its points, folds, creases, shadows and highlights can be a challenge, especially for the artist who's not working from life or a reference photo. Cooper's 1983 book looks dated and is mostly black and white sketched and photos of art. However, it's still a thorough review of the many types of drapery, and there aren't really that many good references on the subject. Wasn't as complete as I thought It would be. Mostly covered drapery as it relates to the human form - not other forms of drapery (curtains, linens, bedclothes, etc.). Still, will be useful on occasion.
