Always a welcomed “read” every year! Reportedly this is the last year it will be distributed in print form. There is so much research & wisdom put into this publication. Sad to see it go away from print form! A tradition started by my late grandmom. I will certainly enjoy this edition.

We have purchased this almanac for years, and our parents before us did the same. This is a great manual for interesting tidbits, planting guidance for your garden, full moons, etc. it shall be missed.

Grew up reading this almanac at my grandparents, and happy to continue the annual tradition. More than just the daily facts for each month and the moon/sunset references. There are some helpful gardening tips and seasonal highlights to read throughout the year. Pro tip: they come out in the fall and have the Nov/Dec references with the new year. Buy early so not such a rush in December. ... show more

I love reading the OFA every year. I took off 1 star because the DIGITAL VERSION DOES NOT HAVE THE CALENDAR PAGES. So, if you expect that same content as the book on the digital download, it is NOT THE SAME. Less content in the digital download.

My normal place I get this traditional almanac no longer sells them so I had to look here to get it. If you have never read one you should get it and see all of the tips and ideas that the old timers went by that are tried and true. It has everything for weather predictions for the coming year to when you should cut your hair or plant your garden and a multitude of other useful info that will make your life easier. If you are like me the first time you read it, you will think this stuff is baloney but just humor me and give just one idea a try and see if you don't run out and get the edition for the next year.
