When you actually mix everything together, the scrubs come out looking surprisingly professional — the pink salt gives a really nice texture and the oils make it feel rich and silky. The directions are simple enough that even if you’ve never done anything like this before, you’ll end up with something lovely. The lavender and rose scents are my favorite — they smell clean and relaxing — and the argan oil leaves your skin feeling super soft afterward. My daughter and I made a few batches together one afternoon, and she couldn’t stop saying her hands felt like “baby skin.” We were both laughing about it, but she wasn’t wrong! I love using body scrubs as part of my skincare and self-care routines. I do already use body scrubs, however I always thought it would be fun to make my own. This kit has everything needed to make your own customized body scrubs, which makes it fun and easy to do. The kit includes so many items; salt, argan oil, 3 essential oils (rose, lavendar and orange), dried petals, little capsules (that have vitamin E oil), measuring cups, spoon/spatulas, 3 jars (with lids), and even little labels for the jars (very nice touch). It's very easy to use these products, and there are directions included. I like that I can mix and match certain scents, and the essential oils smell very pleasant. I really love the rose, personally; however, the lavendar and orange are also very nice. I've had a lot of fun making my own body scrubs with the items in this kit. The process of making the scrubs is actually quite relaxing, and I've enjoyed this a lot. I like that I can even create little scrubs for my family or friends. This is a great quality kit, and comes with everything I needed to make my own body scrubs. I love how soft and smooth my skin feels after using these scrubs; these exfoliate my skin, while leaving behind a nice moisturizing feeling. I think this is a wonderful set, and could be a great gift idea as well. For the price point, I feel this is a good value (in my personal opinion). Very happy with this, and definitely recommend it!

This kit was really nicely put together, it has everything that you need to make different body scrubs. I loved the addition of the dried flowers in this kit, it really makes the body scrub a touch above the ones I usually get in the stores. My daughter and I decided to make it a weekend project, and suffice it to say that we had a blast mixing the salts with the different essential oils. The scrub itself has a nice texture, you can adjust how much salt to put in there so that it's not overly rough on your skin. The essential oils really makes these scrubs stand out as the aroma adds another dimension of relaxation. It's such a fun activity to do together, it is such a great value that we got to spend some quality time as well as learning how to make our own body scrub.

This is a great DIY salt scrub kit! It comes with everything you need to make three different scrubs, and all the ingredients were securely sealed and packaged nicely. So far, I’ve only made one — the orange-scented scrub — since I’m not a fan of rose or lavender scents. I also skipped the dried flowers (I prefer my scrubs without them), but I plan to use those for the bath bombs I’m making as gifts. The orange scrub turned out beautifully! It has a fine-grain texture, and combined with the argan oil, it left my skin feeling noticeably smoother and soft. I’d definitely recommend this kit to anyone who wants to make their own scrubs or is looking for a fun, creative activity to do with kids.
