It has a very strong spring which makes it work good for clear string tone ! But it could be hard for somebody with arthritis issues in gripping! While applying it on the guitar neck! A very sturdy, well-made capo with plenty of options for colors!

My favorite guitarist recommended this capo on a video and on X, formerly twitter, so many times. I just thought I had to give it a try. I'm not a guitarist, I just play as a hobby and my repertoire is so small. Even if I don't play guitar as much, I don't regret buying this because it feels so much better using this than the other brands. Other capos do the job but they don't sound as rich as this thalia capo. My harmonics are so much easier to play, and sound better. No, it's not my technique getting better, I SUCK at the guitar and I can rest assure you this will make your guitar playing sound more richer and smoother.

This model does not come with all the inserts needed to function correctly. I received two inserts for the capo. Unfortunately they are both 12". That is great if you only have one guitar and it has a 12' radius fret board. This capo will work fine on a Gibson. Not worth a plug nickel on a Martin or any other guitar that has a 16" radius or any other measurement. I purchased a Thalia Capo from "Thalia and received all the possible sizes in two different styles of inserts. Spend the extra $10 bucks and get the better Capo directly from Thalia. HEY, GUITAR MAN. PLEASE SEND ME A 16" INSERT SO I CAN USE THIS ON THE MARTIN D41 I BOUGHT IT FOR. I will gladly update this review if they send me the required part needed for this capo to function correctly.

Having played guitar for 50 years, I’ve tried many different capos. I had never found one that worked well on 12-string guitars. Invariably either octave strings buzz or intonation goes sharp, or both. The Thalia is the BEST for intonation up the neck and at the same time the octave strings sound clearly. Highly recommended!
