we look for comfort, stability and reliability in our shoes. check all. I own a pair of Teva Hurricane Xlt2, and they're great, wider than these in toe box, so I wanted a smaller look. Those are in an off-white color, and I'll share, I stay away from black sandals in summer because they are hotter absorbing sun. I got the taupe multi color in Tirra because reviews were similar to Hurricane. One thing about these more expensive Teva's...They are much more comfortable than the lower end/cost ones. The footbed is very nice feeling and feels like good protection throughout the summer heat. they also walk nice! With Teva's, I also find the first time you wear them, you might feel uncomfortable, so stop right there, and start readjusting the straps. If rubbing, loosen them and gradually with some wear, your feet with adjust. may have to repeat tight-loose and light walking for a couple of days. but soon, you will find the comfort of the straps and never have to adjust again. I leave my straps on the loose side, but not loose enough to slide around in the sandal. my feet stay put and the sandals provided great stability. if I hit a hiking mode, I may have to tighten them down a bit, but not probable I'd even have to do that. I typically wear 8.5-9M in most shoes, sneakers, but during winter my feet need more room in toes. these sandals have a more narrow toe box, but are perfect for an open toed shoe. I'm older, but whether running errands or picnic, these sandals will be preferred, because they are rugged enough but don't quite resemble the work horse that they really are. they're cool in temperature and style. expensive but once you are fitted, you're hooked.

I wear an 8.5 and these fit perfectly! I have horrible plantar fasciitis and am on my feet all day for work. I also have to dress up for my job. I have found only 1 par of shoes, in the past two years, that are dressy and don’t make me leave work in excruciating pain. So, I wasn’t expecting much with these! But much to my surprise, I have very happy feet!!! The arch support is in the spot for my feet/foot size! The heal bed is firm enough but a perfect amount of give & squish. These are very comfortable! They are cute enough that they can be dressed up for my job or down for a hike! I absolutely love these! So far they are exceeding my expectations! The sandals & straps seem sturdy enough to last a while!!! 💕💕💕

Absolutely love these. I literally just got them. I'm a size 9. I ordered a 9 and they fit great. I got the green ones. I love the color. They seem very comfortable and sturdy. I will try to update after hiking in them. They look like I can get them wet and they will dry quickly or wick away. I'm very pleased so far. Shipping was quick too.

Teva brand has been my favorite for water sandals since the '90's and this style is the best out of all the different brands/styles that I tried over the years. I use them for hiking and fishing and they hold up well under conditions like trekking over slippery rocks, or balancing on uneven surfaces while throwing lures. They grip enough to catch you from slipping but not so much that it takes some strength and finesse to un-suction your shoe from a rock, so you don't go flying because you lost your balance while trying to un-suction your water sandal from a rock (yes, that happened with a different sandal). I'm standing for long periods of time and this shoe offers outstanding support, all day long. No more tired, aching feet at the end of the day. As water sandals go, this one is made well (not as well as back in the 90's, like everything else) and they are cute, as water sandals go. My first pair was celery green and lasted 10 years until the vacuum cleaner ate one. I've worn 7 through 8 in Teva's and even though the 7 was a bit small, and the 8 a tad big, I can still wear 7, 7.5, and 8 comfortably. My only complaint is that there is not enough Velcro in the upper straps so I can't tighten them as much as I need to. My last pair, that I did not buy on Amazon, was the same. Not sure what the problem is but to remedy it, I added more Velcro. It works but doesn't last so, you have to keep changing it. But it's important to be able to tighten your sandal enough so it stays on your foot, right? I would have returned mine but had worn them once before realizing I had a problem. The four stars I gave this product would easily have been five stars, if there was just more Velcro.

Because of a toe injury, I needed a walking sandal. These are very comfortable and have a very good fit and arch support. Three Velcro straps lend to the personalized fit. Definitely would recommend and buy again.
