Shoes are comfortable, always get a size smaller than you wear. Tevas don’t last long. I’ve worn them for years and if you were them every day in the summer, your not getting 3 years out of them. Maybe 2. But I keep buying them because I have flat , narrow feet and they work for me

Welp, I’m at the age when comfortable footwear is as necessary as a daily Osteo Bi-flex, and I wanted to supplement a 10+ year old pair of purple Tevas that finally made it out of storage last year, and did a good amount of seaside walks in brutally hot weather.     • Great Sandal, Size 7 Too Narrow
I've worn Teva sandals for many years now, but this was my first time purchasing the original universal style. I'm between 7 and 8, so I read dozens of reviews hoping they would help me choose. I also went to my local REI store and tried on both sizes. The 7s and 8s fit similarly, so I ended up ordering a size 7. Unfortunately, they did not fit as expected. My feet tend to swell in the summer, and the 7s are rather narrow. My pinky toes were squished and it felt like my toes might slide over the front; my heels didn't sit right either. Luckily, Amazon's return process is pretty effortless, so I exchanged them for a size 8, and they fit perfectly! These shoes are beyond comfortable with strong velcro. I have yet to test them kayaking and walking through pluff mud, but I have worn them to the beach many times and they are quick to dry!     • COMFORTABLE!
Buy them! I always get blisters when I travel. I made sure to buy comfortable shoes and break them in and these were great. We walked over 20,000 steps each day and my feet didn’t hurt at all. Sizing is true to size.

    • Rubbing on the foot
I wanted to love these so bad - and possibly I should have gotten the wide. Not sure if that would've made a difference, but my main issue with this shoe is that it rubs really badly on the side of the foot where the triangle piece is. I read a review that claimed the same issue, but they mentioned they had wide feet. I have somewhat wide feet, but don't usually get wide shoes as any shoes I purchase usually stretch a little and then it is fine. I am unable to wear these for more than an hour or so before they start to hurt if I walk in them. I wore them around walking in LA, including the beach and couldn't wait to take them off. I wish I had returned them or tried a wide before wearing them so much. I hope this helps someone else, maybe try them in store before purchase or go for the wide.     • Not thrilled
After reading rave reviews about Teva’s for years, I decided to get myself a pair for my trip to Thailand. I was pleased with the look and cushioning however, after wearing these shoes in and out of the water, I developed blisters on my big toe on both feet. I was under the impression that these are great water shoes and that you could get them wet. I guess I could wear them instead of flip-flops for added comfort underneath my feet, but I’ll have to buy different shoes to get wet. ... show more
