    • My new favorite sandals.
10/10 on all fronts. Looks fantastic. Super comfortable, straps are easy to adjust, and every one of the adjusts to fit your foot perfectly. They’re also very durable, and handle river rocks, and sharp hikes with no problem, and no foot slide. Also very easy to put on and take off. I even put socks in under them instead of shoes one night of a festival, and was warm enough. 10/10 recommend ... show more

    • An Old Standby
Size: 11 Color: Black
I've owned a Teva sandals since the early 90s. I still have my very first pair that I use to work around the house or in areas where I don't care how dirty the get. Quality has dipped a little, but they still fit me well and last a fairly long time. In my instance, the soles always wear out. For reference, I wear size 11.5 W sneakers and wear size 11 sandals. ... show more

Teva is my favorite sandals. I do like these and they feel comfortable. However, this is my second pair. My old ones were great but my new young dog chewed the strap. The original ones I had were the S/N 4156 green, but they don’t sell them anymore. Such a bummer because I feel like the new ones are almost pinching the bottom of my feet. My olds never did that with the inner tread. Hopefully time will tell wearing them in. I do wear a size 9.5 in tennis shoes so the 9 fits perfectly. I did see a post about the straps breaking. The problem is you don’t need to tighten so much that your feet and toes turn purple, they will break. They should be comfortable for your feet, not look as though they were in a choke hold. Had my old ones for about 6 years. I do wear these on small hikes and walks, not 5-10 mile hikes. I did spend around $75 for them. However, you get what you pay for too! ... show more

Wore Teva’s for decades before plantar fasciitis diag. Orthopedic doc said no more Tevas. 12 yrs later, Teva product development made tech improvements and voila! This particular Teva allows me to wear them for 6-10 hrs a day without discomfort.

    • Sole too firm - takes away from comfort
Size: 11 Color: Desert Multi
Shoes have great straps. A comfortable, secure fit. But the rubber shoe material is too firm and not at all contoured for the sole of the foot. So, gets uncomfortable after wearing for a couple hours.

    • Sandal make it through first tests
Size: 9 Color: Rapids Insignia
Review Image by Cruz Johnny Cruz Johnny
The Teva Hurricane XLT sandal was very comfortable right out of the box for me. Feet into sandal and strap the top strap. I wear a size 10 shoe but ordered size 9 and they fit perfect (see photo). My toes go right to the inside edge of the sandal. It feels very secure and offers a stable platform. I wore the sandals around the house for a couple of days and they felt good with no discomfort. Next, I went on a 1.5 mile outside walk and the sandals performed well. No blisters or rubbing. I will conduct a 5 mile walk next before they go in my bag for international travel. So far, I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

4th pair of tevas in 14years... comfort, quality, durability (lots of walking). My go-to sandals, year-round with wool socks in Pacific NW rainy clime. Puddle plotching, hot sand beach, asphalt - this sandal does it all repeatedly & with grace

    • black feet
Size: 12 Color: Black
I've worn Tevas for many many years, This particular model was great for the first year. Then every time I wore them they would leave the bottoms of my feet black. I tried washing with soap but didn't change anything. I tossed them and ordered another model of Tevas.
