This was a hit for Christmas. I appreciate the quality of it. Mostly wood, except for the base and the fence pieces. Incredible detail, you can tell thought was put into the design and build. Wasn't too hard to put together, I did have a little trouble with the smaller roof. But overall it's great. Seems durable enough, no missing pieces but no extra screws so don't drop one! I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. I was so surprised on the size! It was perfect. It is so well built, very sturdy & not cheaply made. It took no time to assemble. The color is vibrant. It is very spacious to hold all his farm animals. He lives that he can lift the roof to access the inside. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. I’ve received so many compliments on the barn. Most importantly, my 2.5 year old son was beyond thrilled! He absolutely loves it and has happily started filling it up with animals. We have a few schleich animals and they fit well.

I got this barn for my daughter for Christmas 3 years ago. She is 6 now, and she still plays with it constantly! She loves that it opens and that you can open gates, move fences, etc. It did take some time to put together, maybe an hour, but it has held up well considering the amount of use (and abuse by 3 kids) it has had. Schleich toys are a huge hit on our house and they fit perfectly inside this barn. It does have a pretty big footprint, so you’ll need to keep that in mind when storing. This barn was fairly easy to put together. It looks really nice, and the quality is decent. I will say that there was a chip in the wooden part of it upon opening, and some of the pieces didn’t quite fit together as snug as they should.
