This was the first time I used number balloons at a birthday party and I must say it does make a statement piece. I purchased the Tellpet Black number 10 balloon in 40 inches. I used my own helium tank to fill them up but we did use the directions. I got a kick out of watching my husband try to figure it out on his own before retreating to the directions. The balloons lasted several days afterwards. I finally had to deflate them myself. Although I loved the balloons, I did want to note that the number one balloon does not float straight up. The ribbon hole is made on the bottom corner of the number...which is odd because it causes it to tilt. You could fix this by tying the string around the air insert piece that is located in the middle (see second picture). The number 0 is not a continuous circle as you can see in the picture as well so the two bottom pieces cross each other. Overall they provided a focal point and helped cover up the back windows instead of using a back drop. These balloons were used indoors so I am not sure how they would hold up outside. ... show more

The glue on these are solid as a rock and impossible to get the straw thru to inflate. The straw went right thru the other side then thru the balloon instead of the sleeve. Ruined it and now the special day will have to do without it. Tried tying string before the tear and still leaked. I blow up balloons all year and never had one like this. What crap. ... show more

Disappointed. Bought this for my daughter's tenth birthday to only discover it had a hole in it. So no black birthday balloons for her 10th birthday pictures. Had to go to party city at the last minute to get what they had but ofcourse there was no black ones. I did blow up the other one that seemed like it would be ok and it was nice and big inflated. I just wish the other one didn't have a hole in it. ... show more

So, i was super excited to use these for my boyfriends birthday. Blew them both up, with helium. You can use helium or air according to the enclosed directions. The 2 would not hold air, but the 5 did. They looked great for the very short time they 2 would last. I taped up the hole to try to get a better seal for closure, but it didn't last more than an hour. For the price point, they are decent but just be prepared for a less than perfect balloon! The holes to insert the “straw” to blow them up were sealed and we we unable to inflate them. I am sure they were just defective- it happens- but it was disappointing since they were supposed to be part of a balloon garland for my sons 25th birthday. One of the balloons had a slow leak in it which was impossible to find and fix for the day. So before the party even started it was deflated. Very unfortunate as they were so cute and used as the centerpiece behind the cake table.

I have seen these same balloons at Party City and other party stores for upwards of$30. These balloons were the size as described and extremely easy to blow up at home with your own helium tank. That stay floating for days as well.

The number 6 had a hole in it. As soon as it was blown up it deflated. I complete disappointment for my “60” birthday. 😓
