Bought this for my wife for her birthday. From all the reviews I read before purchasing, this one was supposed to have more features and view ability for the money; but so far, we’ve only seen the moon We are still trying to get used to it So far; not as pleased as I thought I would be

We got this as a graduation gift for our son who’s about to go off to college for astronomy, and we’ve been having such a lovely time together looking at the sky. Without using the phone aligner, this is the photo I got with my iPhone 8–nothing in comparison to the detail you see in person. It’s lovely. Very happy with the purchase, even if the tripod shifts downward just about every time we set it up. We can always get a new tripod!

If you start to love this telescope, put it in a good slow motion tripod, buy some moon filters and i recomend a svbony 4mm 62 degree eyepiece. that put this telescope at 175X and i could see Jupiter very clearly on a gray color scale. There is no chromatic aberration seen by the eye. Updated. Saturn looks nice and clear with 6mm 68 degrees svbony eyepieces. This is around 116X magnification
