I’m not sure how much weight it holds, but mine is being held up with thumb tacks on the 4 brackets. It can be vertical or horizontal, depending on your needs and the stain on the wood is perfect. I did read the dimensions, but upon opening it I was still surprised by how small it is. Nice quality tho' - I got gray, because I don't want it to look like something I dug up in the dump. ;) It goes without saying (but I'll say it) that it's way overpriced.

I like the style, color, and weight. I didn't like the size. The compartments are a bit small. Would have preferred larger compartments or a larger rack. Easy to mount on wall though and aesthetically pleasing.
