  • IT'S WORTH IT
I love it and it is of tremendous visual quality. The tripot is of high quality and solid. It is not built with cheap materials. Easy to use. I decided to upgrade the scope and buy a lunar filter with a 2x barlow lens. But using the factory lenses I could see Saturn and several stars. The tripod is heavy and based on solid metal which helps the wind not to move it. This telescope looks like it was created for a construction site. And if you are a novice. Only with the lenses that include 20m and 10m you would only need a 2x barlow lens and a lunar filter and a red dot scope would be all the upgrade I would need which cost me $44.37 on Amazon ... show more

  • 5/5 I love it!
This has been such a delightful and amazing experience! Setting up and using it has been way easier than I thought it would be. The quality and the focal length for this price was the best compared to many other telescopes I saw online. My tip for taking pictures with your phone through the adapter provided is to lower the brightness on your phone camera so that you can get a better shot with all the shadows on the moon. During the full moon you can't see as many craters because there's not as much of a shadow on them as there is during a crescent moon. I have pictures of both to compare. The phone used was a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. And once you have it all set up, just lower the brightness on your phone camera a tiny bit. Also, it was at 1x if you try to magnify it more it will switch cameras or not be as bright as I figured out with a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. ... show more

  • Great for Beginners - Impressive View of the Moon!
Update: We used the telescope again during a full moon and enjoyed seeing the details clearly. It’s not a telescope for serious stargazing, but for beginners, it’s simple to use and makes exploring the night sky fun. I could see it being a good Christmas gift for someone looking for an easy way to try out a telescope. +++ My husband and I are complete beginners with telescopes, so we wanted something simple yet interesting to use. After reading some one-star reviews that mentioned it was hard to set up and focus, we were a bit hesitant to buy it. But that wasn’t our experience at all. My husband set it up in about 10 minutes, and it was pretty straightforward. We took it out tonight to look at the half-moon, and the view was surprisingly clear. We didn’t use the spotter lens—it felt a bit tricky, but that might just be our inexperience. We had no trouble finding the moon, and the details were impressive. We tried looking at stars too, but the telescope didn’t show much detail there, which we expected. Overall, we’re happy with it as a beginner telescope and think it’s great for anyone just starting out. ... show more

  • Excellent
Great product for the cost. I purchased this for my budding astronomer. It was a little tricky to get set Up because the directions are not very Clear , but there are youtube videos online that Really help out as well. There are all kinds of features that are handy like A holder for the phone so you can Look things up and compare to where you are a holder Take pictures through the lens of what you see There is also a compass as well as a level built in.easy to use. It comes apart and goes together.Pretty easy when she gets it figured out. ... show more

  • Awesome telescope overall!
Super easy to use telescope. Feels very sturdy and well made. The mount is way better than other telescopes at this price point. The lenses are okay and work as you would think but they are little difficult to focus down with your eye. The camera mount is actually much better then using your own eyes. Once you line up the phone camera with the lens you can get a really great shot of the moon. The top mount is more for using a star gazing app to figure out where to point the telescope so it's not really useful. Instead just use the phone camera mount on the lens for the best results. This is probably the best beginner telescopes you can find under 200 so I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great telescope for the price!
Product Review: Solomark Telescope The Solomark Telescope is an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate stargazers. Here’s my take on its performance, design, and value: Performance The optical quality of the Solomark Telescope is impressive for its price range. With its decent aperture size and powerful magnification, I was able to clearly view the moon’s craters and even faint details of Jupiter’s moons on a clear night. While deep-sky objects like nebulas are visible, the image quality drops slightly for faint celestial bodies. Still, for amateur astronomy, it delivers solid performance. Design and Build Quality The telescope is well-constructed with durable materials, making it sturdy enough for frequent use. It’s lightweight and portable, which is great for transporting to remote locations for darker skies. The assembly process is straightforward, thanks to the included manual. However, beginners might need some time to familiarize themselves with the setup. Ease of Use The Solomark Telescope is relatively easy to operate. Its adjustable tripod is stable, though it might wobble slightly when fully extended. The finderscope included is decent, but upgrading it might improve targeting accuracy. The focus knobs are smooth and responsive, ensuring precise adjustments. Accessories This telescope comes with a variety of useful accessories, including interchangeable eyepieces and a smartphone adapter for capturing photos. The adapter is a great bonus, especially for astrophotography enthusiasts, though it can take some effort to align perfectly. Value for Money For the price, the Solomark Telescope is a great investment for hobbyists and those new to astronomy. While it may not have the advanced features of higher-end models, it provides an enjoyable and educational stargazing experience. Pros • Clear optics for lunar and planetary viewing • Lightweight and portable • Comes with helpful accessories • Affordable price Cons • Slight instability at maximum tripod height • Limited performance for deep-sky objects • Basic finderscope Final Verdict The Solomark Telescope is a reliable and budget-friendly option for beginners and casual stargazers. While it may have some minor limitations, its overall performance and included features make it a worthwhile purchase. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to explore the wonders of the night sky without breaking the bank. ... show more
