This was a Christmas gift for my mother. She's definitely a beginner and still learning how to use i this but, she had an absolutely great time using it the first time together! The moon was beautiful and we were able to track down some planets. Keep in mind this is 100% a beginners telescope and objects may not be very detailed but it is great to start out with!

We like the product. And for me as a beginner I was able to figure it out(I’m in my 40’s) but for daughter who is 16, struggled and almost gave up until I stepped in. There is minimal instructions. But overall very good product. My daughter was happy to take pictures of the moon, which don’t come out on her cell phone alone.
