The telescope looks sleek. It took me about 5 minutes to put everything together. The body is made from plastic, but the build quality is not bad, I have nothing to complain for what I have paid for. I have never had a telescope, spent quite a long time just now, but I only managed to see my neighbors’ Christmas decorations, a little embarrassing. Though the seller delivered on time , the product itself does not work as described . I can’t see anything at all out of it , no matter where I place it . No matter which lense I use . It’s a very nice product but I am highly unsatisfied with it and now this Christmas gift has turned into nothing . This was the last money I had for the gift and I try tree the box away thinking it would fulfill its purpose . All I want is my money back . I’m 8 months pregnant and on bed rest , so money is very tight as I have 7 children in the home . Please be mindful before purchasing . This telescope was fairly easy to put together. I wish the plastic bags that the parts came in were labeled but it was easy to figure out where the pieces go by viewing the diagram. Clarity is spectacular, and the stand is sturdy… it is only a couple of feet tall (if that), so keep that in mind. It’s a great idea for kids! I even got a second for my niece for Christmas time.
