  • A Stellar Telescope at a Great Price - Perfect for Desert Skies!
I live in the Mojave Desert in Nevada, where light pollution is practically nonexistent — and this Yenguan Telescope absolutely blew me away! With its 90mm aperture and 800mm focal length, I was expecting decent performance, but what I got far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the lenses is surprisingly high, especially given the affordable price. The image of the moon was absolutely stunning — crisp, clear, and incredibly detailed. I could easily make out craters and surface features I’ve never seen so vividly before. Setup was a breeze. Everything came carefully packaged and assembly took just minutes. The height-adjustable tripod is sturdy and smooth to use, and the included 10mm and 25mm eyepieces, Barlow lens, and finder scope give you plenty of options right out of the box. The smartphone adapter looks simple to use — I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m excited to start capturing some night sky photos soon. The durable carry bag is a thoughtful touch and makes transporting the scope easy. Whether you're a beginner or someone who just enjoys stargazing from time to time, I can’t recommend this telescope enough. Fantastic quality, easy to use, and perfect for anyone lucky enough to have a clear night sky. ... show more

  • A Stellar Beginner-Friendly Telescope That Exceeded My Expectations
I bought the YENGUAN Telescope for Adults & Kids off Amazon with high hopes, and I’m thrilled to say it delivered way beyond what I expected—especially at this price point. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and whether I’m stargazing solo or with family, this telescope has made every night sky session exciting and memorable. Assembly and Build Quality: Setup was surprisingly straightforward—even for a first-timer like me. The instructions were clear, and all the parts were well-packaged and easy to identify. It took me less than 20 minutes to assemble it completely. The stainless steel tripod feels solid and sturdy, not flimsy like I expected from an entry-level model. The included carry bag is also a nice touch for portability—I’ve already taken it on a weekend camping trip. Performance: What really impressed me is the clarity of the images. The 90mm aperture and 800mm focal length combo offers crisp, detailed views. The Moon looks phenomenal—craters, ridges, and shadows are all incredibly sharp. I was able to spot Jupiter’s bands and even a few of its moons on a clear night, which blew me away. The 25mm and 10mm eyepieces, combined with the 3x Barlow lens, provide a solid range of magnifications, from wide views to zoomed-in details. User Experience: The finderscope is super helpful for lining up targets (though it’s inverted, which takes a minute to get used to). Focusing is smooth and precise, and the 45° erecting prism makes viewing comfortable for long sessions. The phone adapter works great—I’ve been able to snap some decent shots of the Moon and share them with friends and family. For Beginners and Casual Observers: This telescope strikes the perfect balance of being beginner-friendly without feeling “kiddie” or overly simplified. It’s a serious instrument that invites exploration but doesn’t intimidate. My younger cousin (age 10) was able to use it with a little guidance, and she was over the moon—literally and figuratively. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a reliable, well-made, and affordable telescope that can get you and your family into stargazing with minimal fuss, the YENGUAN telescope is absolutely worth it. The optics are clear, the build is solid, and it offers a ton of value for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase and look forward to many more nights under the stars. Rating: 5/5 – Highly recommended for beginners, hobbyists, and families looking for a quality telescope without breaking the bank. ... show more

  • Good beginner Telescope!!
Was hesitant before buying if it was good enough for a beginner as I had no idea about telescopes. But after reading the reviews and doing a little bit of research, went ahead with the buy and I am happy with the purchase now. The quality is good enough for the price. Very easy to setup with clear instructions given with the product. Calibration and focus needs some learning and patience to setup but it is there with any telescope. I was able to watch the moon clearly with details as seen in the review photos. It is light weight too and it comes with a bag which is easy to carry and easily fits in any car. And it comes with a phone holder for the lens, how good is that! Though it is slightly irritating to setup with a phone having multiple camera lens but this problem would be there for any telescope I guess. Overall, a good buy for beginners! ... show more

  • A good beginner telescope for a great price and some more!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a beginner telescope for a while now and was looking for something that was economical. This one caught my eye but was a little out of range of what I wanted to spend, but being patient helped and saw this on come down within my range on Black Friday and decided to buy it. So far so good. Enjoying stargazing with my 12 year old over the Thanksgiving break. Packaging : Good. The telescope came packed in a cushioned bag that can be used to carry it on trips. The bag was packed inside a box which in turn was packed with protective packing and an outer box. Assembly : Very easy with clear instructions both pictorial and written making it easy to follow. Do and Don'ts clearly laid out. Telescope : The telescope itself is not very heavy making it easy to carry/move around during use or on trips. The two lenses ( 10mm and 25mm) provide good magnification for lunar observation and viewing other stars/planets like Jupiter . I was able to use the 10mm lens and get a clear view of Jupiter with its 3 largest moons on Day two of use ( beginner's luck , I guess), proving this is easy to setup and start using. Within 30 mins of unpacking I was already gazing at the sky taking in sights of Venus and Jupiter. The phone adapter holds the phone securely although using it takes some getting used to since touching the phone while being focussed on a planet/star might affect the picture. I found using a remote bluetooth camera trigger or smartwatch app for clicking picture to be very helpful. All in all a good starter telescope to get your astronomy juices flowing. ... show more
