Great telescope, the only issue we have is that if looking past 45° and going to 90° (vertical) is quite a challenge for a taller guy like me (6’) to search the heavens.

    • Terrible build quality. The metals used are cheap "Pig Metals".

The cradle is made out of Pig Metal and the threads strip out easily. Unit is useless now.

    • Powerful Telescope - love the available digital eyepiece
I was surprised how big this telescope was when it arrived, and found that all aspects of it's construction were high quality, even down to the packaging. I was able to get the digital eyepiece working pretty quickly, and that made it so much easier to view the objects, and snap pictures of them. I have yet to hook-up and use the bluetooth switch which allows you to do that without touching the telescope and phone, but looking forward to that. I did find the rangefinder positioning (where it is mounted) to be difficult to view to set up what you want to look at, but I am a novice and I likely need to get used to that. So far, so good, although so far this month the moon and weather have not made it easy doe viewing. My only other question is where the photos go when I snap them - I haven't found them yet, but will reach out to support soon for that ... show more
