Researched for months to decide what socket brand to commit to and these are by far the best for the money. Super high quality sockets and the chrome coating doesn’t go all the way into the socket opening so overtime the tolerance won’t wear out as they are used.

i bought a ratchet from Tekton a while back and snapped it on a very stubborn bolt and did a warranty exchange through Tekton and it was the easiest warranty exchange i have ever done. no questions asked seen it was broke, they drop shipped another one next day. showed up in a few days. ever since i have been buying Tekton tools when i need one. these sockets are very nice quality and i expect a long life from them and have a piece of mind if i break one they will take care of it asap no questions asked. great customer service with this brand. ... show more

Best kit I ever bought, so happy I pulled he trigger and made the purchase. Every size socket, shallow and deep, very convenient case, so it is portable, and keeps everything organized very well. Quality was fantastic, I am not a mechanic but trade, but dont see why this wouldn't be a great kit for even a mechanic. I'll probably buy the 1/2" drive kit next, so I have even larger sizes. Couldnt be happier with my decision to buy this kit. Only down fall, a little thick of a case to put in a drawer of a tool box, but the convenience of the case outweighs that for me. Also the case could be a little better, the hinges dont appear to be super strong, hopefully it lasts a long time but we will see, havent had any problems yet. Perfect for the mechanic at home in my opinion. Great kit! you will never need another 3/8 socket unless it's something specialty. It is the most complete 3/8 drive kit I could find anywhere. Also being 6 point sockets less chance of messing up the heads of bolts or nuts. Also quality control seems to be great on the kit I bought, no blemishes that I have found. ... show more

This is an awesome set. I got tired of looking for a socket set that was complete. Many sets skip sizes they think are not useful, like 16mm. This set has them all. Have had this set now for over a year and I love it. I use it nearly every day. The sockets fit the bolts and nuts well so I have yet to round off any fasteners. The case is awesome, I can easily see if any sockets are missing, and I can toss it in the back of my truck and take it with me. I have the 1/2” set for work and decided to get the 3/8” set as well. What other socket set on the market will give you a nice spread of Metric and SAE sockets at a price like that?? Haven’t had any issues with anything chipping or cracking yet, quality and finish is on par with higher end tools. If you’re looking for a mid grade/slightly above mid grade set of sockets, I would highly recommend these. ... show more
