I've tried a bunch of whitening products over the years and this pen is pretty straightforward to use. You just twist it to get the gel out and paint it on your teeth. The applicator is small enough that you can be pretty precise about where you're putting it, which is nice if you don't want to whiten your gums. The gel itself is thick and doesn't drip everywhere, which I appreciated. It stays on your teeth while you're waiting for it to set. The instructions say to wait like 30 minutes before eating or drinking, and honestly it's not that hard to do. I just did it in the morning before breakfast and it was fine. As far as the actual whitening goes, I did notice my teeth looked a bit brighter after a few applications. It's not a dramatic overnight thing, but there's definitely a difference. I used it for a few days in a row and the results seem to stick around for a bit. The sensitivity part is where I was skeptical since I have sensitive teeth normally. I was expecting my teeth to hurt but they didn't really. There was maybe a tiny bit of sensitivity the first time I used it, but nothing bad. After that it was totally fine. My only complaint is that the gel consistency can be a little thick sometimes, so occasionally I had to squeeze the pen a bit hard

I've only used it 3 times so far and there's a noticeable difference removing stains. My teeth at brighter. I haven't noticed a difference with the actual color of my teeth but I'm going to keep using it. It does cause sensitivity that went away after a few hours. Definitely dry your teeth first because it starts to bubble up will wind up on your gums.
