    • Fun reflective vinyl when using a light or flash

I love this vinyl. The effect when you shine a light or flash on it is so cool and unexpected. The vinyl cuts well on my Silhouette Cameo 4 and is easy to weed. It does have a little "dull" look on its own, but I still love the look with or without a flashlight shining on it.

To start: Yes, this Vinyl does look like a soft blue color with a faint holographic shimmer to it with the naked eye. It's nothing omg or crazy looking, not until you either get a bright light on it at just the right angle or take a photo with a camera flash. Then it explodes into this rainbow of sparkling color that looks really nice. I'm a firm believer in making sure you know what you are getting. It's sad to see all these negative reviews on this product due to people got grasping what this is and how it works but only want to go on about how it looks 'dull' to the bare eyes when it's like this by design. Personally, I like the blue color, and the faint halo effect it gives off when you look at it. It's a nice subtle touch that just pops when you shine a bright light on it or surprise someone who takes a photo. My logo for my brand has proven to really put my Cricket to the test with all the corners, sharp edges, and thin lines but it handled cutting it on this Vinyl like a champ. Everything stayed in place with no issues for the negative variant that is now on my sewing machine's knob, and the positive is now a new sticker for my cricket. ... show more

TECKWRAP's vinyl i have reviewed before, their blue matte i really liked so i thought i'd try this. So far, and should say i've only done a little bit, it does look good. After you've cuts dozens and dozens of projects, it's like being a vinyl junkie. I want more, bigger, more spectacular. Something to knock the socks off of a project. This roll of vinyl gives that next effect when light hits on it from specific angles. That means flash, flashlight, headlights from cars etc. Like most vinyls, weeding works fine after setting the right depth. I expected a dramatic color change that would be easily achieved with a light source. It turns out it needs to be really dark and the light source needs to be pretty light to see the color change. In the day it’s not impressive at all. I found the adhesive is okay and it cuts and weeds without difficulty. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to use transfer paper with. My normal contact paper was useless. I ended up having to use packaging tape instead. For my it would be good as a safety reflective at night, but it’s not my favorite. ... show more

This is a semi-permanent holographic vinyl roll for cutting machines. It has a nice thickness and is easy to weed once you have the depth set correctly. (So definitely test cut). This has a really cool prism/rainbow effect when light hits it at an angle, otherwise it is a slightly mat sheen with light sparkle.
