This TECH DECK, Pyramid Shredder, X-Connect Park Creator set is pretty cool. You get a set of stairs with a rail, 2 ramp pieces, a flat deck and a yellow pyramid. It also comes with a skateboard. The plastic pieces that make up this set are well made and easy to connect. I do wish they would add more contour pieces to make this more stable, it to have an extra one or two to be able to connect to another set. It would also be nice if this came with a small spin down, or wench as the nuts on the skateboard seem to come loose and fall off easily. ... show more

This assembled easily and quickly. My 10 year old son had it completely before I had hardly looked at it. It is a neat addition to a little Tech Deck park, but I don’t think this piece on its own would be highly satisfying. There just isn’t a whole lot of room to do much on this alone. But when combined with other park pieces for a fingerboard, this is great fun! ... show more

My five year old son has recently been asking for a TECH DECK since he saw a commercial for one on television. The box says that this is for ages 6+. In terms of having fun with it and using the skateboard, it is appropriate for my five year old and I could definitely see older children enjoying this as well. However, a child does need help putting this together. The font in the instruction booklet is very small and the steps are not the easiest to follow. I had to put the entire thing together for my son and it took me a minute to figure out where some of the pieces should go. At the end I had a bunch of leftover small pieces and I have no idea where to put them so they're in a plastic baggie. Originally, I thought the price was a bit high. However, after some research I discovered this set is priced on par with other similar products. Overall, this is fun and my son enjoys it. ... show more

The construction itself is a bit jank, and doesn't seem to hold together super tight. otherwise was easy enough to build and looks pretty alright. The main thing is, it's too small to really do anything with. I thought it would have a lot more room to actually be used, but it's basically more so to be used with the full set it seems, since on the box it says you can combine it with multiple sets. A bit disappointed, but at the same time I can still appreciate it as a display piece along with my old boards. Brings a bit of nostalgia back and made me go and find my old boards before this arrived. Want to also note that these new boards have way scratchier/rough grip tape, felt like my fingers were starting to burn a bit while trying to do flips with it. They are also a bit longer and wider, with bigger wheels and sit just a bit higher than the old ones I have. ... show more

My 9 year old likes the Pyramid Shredder skate park. He liked it even more once we connected another park to it. This photo is of the Pyramid Shredder attached to the Nyjah Skatepark.
