I would strongly recommend this book for anyone who likes the written "how to do it" coupled with the "visual how to do it". Even if you are intimidated by technology or your ability to be able to configure your iPhone 12, 12Pro or Pro Max, if you WILL follow the written + visual instructions you should have no problem in setting up and/or using your iPhone. I am one of the "older generation" members and this manual is easy to understand and follow. There was a review on this book that stated that the print was too small for those with vision problems to see. This has been an excellent tool for learning an iPhone 12. The visual aids, in color, along with written word are fantastic! It has worked so well for my 87 y/o father. He will soon be teaching me!

I got this for my parents (80+) and I have to admit that even though the book is written for people who don’t have smart phone experience, it dies hep to have a little. With that said, I still think it’s a great beginners book and worth the money.

I have bought other Teach Yourself Visually books for other IPhones in the past. This books is the best one that I've ever purchased to learn how to use the IPhone. There is a lot of information throughout the book. The photographs are very helpful and I can look up what I want to know in the index. Guides like this must be up to date not only on the latest phone but on the latest operating system, now iOS 14. Since upgrades are coming all the time it’s impossible for a book to describe all that your iPhones can do.
