If your kids are fans of Roblox, they will no doubt enjoy this set. There are no pictures but my child had no problem enjoying the stories and using his imagination. He blew through the entire set in under a week. This is a great alternative to screen time! We haven't read them all yet but these are written in what could be called modern conversational tone and use common phrases and words kids might hear on YouTube on their favorite shows like Roblox. One reviewer said she thought the language was inappropriate. I haven't come across inappropriate words but there is some teasing about an overweight cop that is not dissimilar to things they hear on roblox or lankybox, which I agree is not something we want our kids thinking is ok. If it we're up to me, he wouldn't watch those shows but Que Sera Sera. My grandson who's going into 3rd grade manages to read them himself with very little help with the words; however the comprehension might be more for 4th grade and up. The style is as if the writer is simply talking. After having tried to read the first diary together, neither my grandson or I really know what the story is about. This is a well-made set and so far I would recommend it for 9+ since it should get them interested in reading. But it won't teach then values or offer much in the way of education. However punctuation seems very well edited, I'm impressed with the formatting and punctuation. ... show more

It brought characters from penis book series into the layer book which was really cool and I really hope he makes a part the to the series I really enjoys this book series. Thrilling, lots of adventure, and lots of good story line. Really wanting a3rd collection to the series please.
