Ok, for those that are looking for ferment on a pre-14 road glide or street glide. It works! Very well actually. You’ll have to get 1/2” shorter shocks bolts which is easy. The large washers they give you will go on the inside of the shock between the shock and frame. The shocks will be about an inch taller than your air shock… but they settle just fine. Maybe a 1/2 to 3/4 higher. Some of the height can be taken out with the pre-load. Mine was fine. Couldn’t really tell a difference looking at the bike. The resi mounts are the trick. I machined the spacers… doesn’t work. The saddle bags won’t clip back on. So… use the rails directly on the tour pack post brackets. Use the bolts that are in the bike currently as they are long enough, in the bike currently. Works great! Just put one thin washer between the new rail and the bike on each bolt. Done! My 2011 road glide ultra looks great, Feels great and I really didn’t even do any adjustments yet. Pretty good stuff! As far as the quality of the kit…. No real directions…. Just a pic. But the install is super easy. The quality of the shock, springs and hardware in general is sooooo pleasing and top shelf. I was absolutely shocked! If you look at the same type kit from Ohlin…. It looks like the exact same shock. Extremely please with the quality. Oh - Use a jack under the bike to get the inch back when installing the shocks. ... show more

Fit great on the bike. Gives it a new look but overall gives it a different ride. Slightly stiff but definitely smoother than stock shocks. As skeptical but wow what a difference after 150 miles especially on NYC roads.

For the price of these shocks and for how well they have performed so far I have nothing but good things to say. Have already recommended these to a few friends to try instead of buying the expensive name brand. While there are no directions if you cant figure out how to install these you shouldnt be diy. The kit does come with 2 different sized spacers, on my 2020 the long spacers were two long and would interfere with the bag lid. Adjustment is easy and compression can be done on the fly without removing bags. ... show more

I own quite a few bikes, ohlins, Sachs, WP, showa you name it ive probably had it. Most are fine, some really stand out, this is one of them. Quality of components and hardware 10/10. Fit and finish 10/10, performance 10/10, adjustability 9/10 - a 9 because If you want your touring bike lowered just a bit 1.5-2”, youll need loweing blocks. These shocks are 13” with the ability to go longer but not shorter. Mine were 12” from factory - 2022 road glide Special, so with the lowering blocks the net is about 1/2” lower than it was. It will NOT scrape the bags or pipes. Minimal preload, compression in the middle setting, rebound one click soft, length as short as they will go, they bolt right up easy. Good luck. ... show more
