This was purchased "used" from Amazon. If it didn't have an inspected sticker on it, I would not have been able to tell. All the little plastic bags with cords and such were unopen (new?). So 5 Stars for the "used" aspect of this purchase. I own the 75 inch TCL Roku TV that this sound bar was designed for so connection and setup was almost completely automated. So 5 starts for integration.. of course that should be the easy one for my situation. Now the most important aspect; the quality of sound. In my TV placement the TV speaker fails me since it is not against a wall (the TV is in a corner). So the sound from the TV is inconsistent and unbalanced. Thus the need for a sound bar and sub woofer. For the money this sound bar and subwoofer are fantastic. The sound quality is much better than expected. I only wanted to balance the TV audio to make some movies and TV shows more watchable without turning on the big audio system I have connected to the TV (for Blu-ray and music purposes). The big audio system is a discrete amp and 3.1 speakers connected to the TV. I was able to test the sound quality against of this sound bar against my big audio system. For the purposes of leveling out and balancing audio they both do the job very well. The dialog is a bit crisper on the sound bar/sub over the big audio system. For me that is a huge win. 5 stars for the audio quality. Where this soundbar / sub falls short is the subwoofer should be one size bigger. The sound bar and sub don't perform as well with Disaster movies since the sub should be a bit bigger. In regards to music, I'm a hard rock guy, so I need full spectrum audio, lots of low, plenty of mid, and crisp highs. Again the soundbar/sub did well but not as good as the big system. Don't take this as a knock on the soundbar/sub. This sound bar and sub costs one tenth of what my big system cost so I'm very happy with the purchase and the quality. I would recommend.

Stunning sound, simple installation, and crisp spacial audio. For the price I couldnt help but to buy and try it out and wow! I dont feel like I need to go to the movie theaters anymore! (Dont worry I still will 😅) But man its awesome! Good job on amazons part with the renewal! Everything was still in new plastic packaging and the package seemed brand new! Thanks!

Well, I thought I wasn’t gonna like this sound bar. But to tell you the truth, this thing packs of punch for such a little sound bar it has tons of volume very good Bass. I am very, very satisfied with the sound quality of this little thing.

Amazing sound especially for the price. Sound stage is solid and the bass from the sub is room filling. It can't compete with high end systems but for the price, can't be beat!

Always read the one-star reviews. Some are just customers with an axe to grind, some have encountered such a negative experience with a product or company they want others to consider carefully regarding their choice to purchase. This review is the latter: A Warning. Spend 10 minutes on google and you’ll discover TCL soundbars consistently FAIL at their ARC port. ARC hdmi ports allows the smart tv to push sound through external hdmi port devices, such as TCL sounbars, thus allowing the use of ONE controller for Tv and sound. There are dozens of sites dedicated to troubleshooting this consistent problem. ARC port failure happened to me with this soundbar. It’s 5-months old, under warranty. I phoned customer support to report the problem and to have the nonfunctional soundbar replaced. In doing so, I spoke over 45 minutes with the TCL rep, as she walked me through the steps to ensure it was another ARC port failure. It is, exactly that. But, just to be sure, I offered to repeat the process on TWO additional TCL TVs: the soundbar’s ARC failed, just like the first TV. Clearly a soundbar issue, reaffirmed multiple times. Easy proof for a simple replacement, under warranty, right? Wrong. The best part - after all the time spent documenting and proving the ARC on the soundbar failed on 3 TCL TVs, I received a request from TCL that I provide a VIDEO of exactly what the problem is. Essentially to prove it. I wish that was a joke, but it is not. ARC port failure on TCL products is common. Simply do a search to verify that statement. However, and this is critical, TCL customer support is the most absurd, unreasonable and indifferent that I have ever dealt with on any electronic purchase. Not only are their products substandard, but the warranty is next to worthless, because the company will not stand behind their products or honor that warranty. Do your own research. The experience above is mine, but I want the potential customer to know where any TCL product will take them. Do yourself a favor, and purchase a functional product with a company that stands behind their products and the warranty for those products. PS: It was necessary for me to phone again today, a third call with TCL, to no avail. I remain with no replacement, no refund, and the realization I could/should have purchased any other product but TCL. And now you know. Full stop. EDIT December 2023 - I’ve now had three (3) TCL soundbars fail the eArc port. All three, same exact point of failure. Completely non-functional

Maybe the best deal on a soundbar -- I paid $130, and I feel like I got a lot more for my money than setups that cost over $200. The TCL is set up in a small living room, so I don't need loud. Instead, I want clear dialogue, warm mids, and at least evidence of some bass. It sounds fantastic, the remote works perfectly, and the profile is slim. No complaints.

It's a solid product, but it's slow to turn on and isn't compatible with TCL TVs that are also Roku TVs. By this, I mean it doesn't connect wirlessly. Also the set up is a bit confusing if you plan to use the ARC input. It's literally the opposite way of what the instructions say. But it's decent sounding for the price.
