The band/design of sparkle and stars goes all the way around your arms and across your back. The bling is a part of the fabric, which I hope you can see in my photos. Although I didn't want stars (would have preferred hearts or dots), I really wanted the silver color with sparkle to go nicely with my silver shoes. The material is soft and comfy and does not feel differently where the band is located. It's not too thick, so if you're warm like me you can still wear this and not get overheated. Of course, I had to get this top 1-2 sizes larger than normal... Still, I really like it. It is soft, comfortable & not at all heavy for how warm it was for me. Plus, I like the color & design! I got a size smaller due to weight loss but I’d say true to size. Love the softness of material and that it tapers a bit so not big and blousy. I have bought several shirts in this brand and love them!!
