This TCL smart phone is simply AWESOME! I can not believe all the capabilities and features this phone has. Only Con I can see so far, is a slight lag in page loading.     • Great budget phone for the whole family
I ordered my phone in August 2022 I love the phone it done everything my Samsung Galaxy S10 done for me in the past and this phone has a better battery life than any of my Samsung phones combined (I was a straight Samsung Fan before I switched to TCL) I feel like I get more usage out of this phone for what I needed this phone for I am a heavy social media user, mobile gamer,and I also edit pictures/videos with this phone and the cameras are great and very detailed! I use TikTok alot and I am TikToker; I've ordered this phone twice and I am getting ready to order another again I've purchased it once for myself and thought it would be a nice upgrade for my parents too and they both are sharing one between them right now their older I wanted to make sure my Dad was able to progress on my mom's phone I just bought before Christmas and he has showed decent amount of success with this phone. So; both phones are just extremely user friendly my mom and I both have eye problems and honestly the drop down menu is easier to get too the eye comfort settings better for us than most phones. This phone has a louder speàker and ringer my mom also have hearing problems and this phone makes the most sense for her and my dad too. He's looking forward to his new phone too in January around his birthday as promised 😊. The only cons about this phone is the wifi-calling I don't know why but that's the only issue I've came across on both phones; it's not a big deal! For us! We use T-Mobile as our carrier However might be for someone else. The other is the finger print scanner is sentive however if it gets dirty it won't register your fingers at all must keep clean; I clean mine once a week to avoid reading errors. Just got this yesterday but happy so far. It comes with a clear case, so additional purchase is unnecessary. Main features that sold me were an FM radio and a magnetometer sensor for compass app - hard to find both on a budget phone. It has lots of memory and the modest amt of bloatware is deletable. It has wi-fi calling. It also has an (optional) built-in app lock that works - just apply a PIN to whatever sensitive apps you choose and you hardly need to lock phone. Easy to set up copying files from previous phone w/Bluetooth. Charging cable is kind of short and need another for keeping in car. Its Android 12 is most current version so it should be good for awhile. Haven't used camera yet but sure it's fine. ... show more

It was hard to say goodbye to my LG G8 THINQ after having it for 3 years. Even though it just recently had it's last android software update to Android 12 that is still good. I thought TCL would be more better equipped and be the best replacement for LG after it discontinued it's platform in 2021. I have to CAUTION you LADIES AND GENTLEMEN that this TCL is utterly disappointing and a complete joke of a smart phone. I'll get to the point so it will make you aware of the first 20 minutes of opening it and setting it up. ///DOESN'T CONNECT TO WIFI (after 5 attempts it will connect.     • Cheap but you get what you pay for
Cheap phone... works 80% of the time. Locks up, drops calls, freezes, answers phone calls okay then nobody can hear you and you must call back, location drops, drops cellular data and only able to use on wifi..... just a lot of issues, will probably replace sooner than later.

Great budget phone exactly as advertised. Battery, camera, functionality, all beyond what I expected from a phone in this price range. I got this on sale at under $120 (before tax) and I didn't expect it to be this great at this price. It doesn't have 5g, but I knew that going and don't need it anyway since I am in a rural area where our towers don't offer 5g yet. Was also pleasantly surprised that I could remove most bloat ware, that's definitely a plus!
