Description
Add shade, shelter, and privacy to your pontoon boat. Providing comfort and convenience, this spacious enclosure fits easily over the bow area of your pontoon boat. Constructed from durable polyester fabric shell with zippered entryway, mesh windows, and supported by a shock-corded fiberglass pole framework. The enclosure measures about 56"L x 74"H depending on beam and rail height. Fits both 96" and 102" wide pontoon boats. The large interior radius allows you to sit comfortably on existing seating without bending over or crouching. After initial installation of the permanent hardware, the Pontoon Enclosure sets up easily and comes down in minutes for storage. Comes complete with enclosure, frame, marine-grade hardware, and storage bag. Not for use while underway.

It'll work after you put in work

Well, it does work and while I know a lot of people co.plained about the instructions, they weren't that bad. With that being said, this tent is like 20% ready to go once you get it installed. There are many problems with this design, quality, and craftsmanship. Let's start with the design. The design is OK but not all pontoon boats are created equal. For example, on both sides of the door there are cutouts for seats. Mine only has one seat and has two fishing seats up front so couldn't you just leave that extra material on both side with the ability to roll up? Let's talk about the included straps, I believe mine were cut by 10 different people using different utensils to cut them and lighters to search the edges. Not a single strap is the same size and not a single snap button is in the same location. Let's talk about quality, the material is the cheap overseas fake cordura. It is the stuff that will peel after a while. I will use it for the next month and send it to an upholsterer to use it as a pattern and have one made of 600D cordura, but do not expect this one to last long. The velcro used has got to be the cheapest velcro I have ever seen. It strands after pulling it apart a few times. I do think the poles are OK and I have mine mounted slightly different than what is shown in the instructions but they appear to be durable as long as you allow tension throughout the pole and not focused on shorter spans. Now the craftsmanship, its horrible. Again, the strap are all different sizes, the stitching is terrible and dont think for a minute that this thing is waterproof. It has more holes in it than a noodle strainer. I will spend tomorrow siliconing holes so its ready for this weekend. The zippers will not last long either. I turned my stern light on and you canmliterally see through the zipper material. The instructions are OK but there is one line in it that says, Made in the USA or Imported, but Let's be honest, this definitely imported based on the materials used and the quality of work.

Good value for my purpose of boat camping a few times per year.

Pro’s: good value for light camping use a few times a year. Con’s: Not built for durability. Needs 2 people to setup in order to bend poles; otherwise, you’ll launch a pole into the water. Does not close door gaps; need fabric or towel to keep the bugs out. Tips for installation: Don’t use the instructions to measure where to place the bow pole receptacle. Instead, fit the fabric around the rails & place the 1st bow receptacle where the bow seam is, then work back from there. Warning that the last receptacle will land on your port entry door if you have one. Therefore, you’ll have to use the stern door for entry or exit. Otherwise, you can climb over the port door.

Doesn't fit perfectly and a pain by yourself

Does not fit as advertised the 3 supports keep popping out and it doesn't fit properly or I just got a bad one maybe easier with 2 people but the way you have to strap it down you could never do in the water

It did its job

Fairly simple to install. Marketing needs help. They show different colors wanted burngdy ended up with black. The bungie broke after removing the support stick. Looks like Amazon sells it by the roll. A door at the front would be nice since most pontoons have a door up front.

Like the product but after 2nd use tent pole split and end tip fell off.

Not very good quality
