I am 4'10", 110lbs, and tried the size small 26" (light blue jean). I am thick waisted with small hips. I am so thrilled that Tapata offers shorter lengths, and the wide leg cargo jeans/pants styles. They were very nicely packaged. The quality is great. The length was just an inch passed my heel barefoot, so I can wear with flats. They're extremely comfortable and have a fashionable "grunge" look to them. And I love the very deep pockets, especially the top front side pockets. The biggest problem for me (with my body type) is they fit perfectly at the waist, but are excessively baggy through the hips, and it is not a flattering look. Luckily, the extra hip material does not add too much bulk when worn under light weight long t-shirts or sweat shirts, and does look cute that way. Update: I tried the extra small, and the hips size fits better and looks better. So I exchanged them. The waist was a little tight at first, but as I had hoped, the elastic has relaxed and stretched out a little over time. I have since purchased two more colors. ... show more

Great for short girls! I am 4'11" weigh 158 my waist is 35 and ordered the 26" medium. I could have almost gone with 28". They fit my big bootie and short torso. I think the reviews that say they run big are possibly people with smaller bootie. They stretch a small amount but plenty especially in the waist. I really like the style and fit of these jeans except at the waist. I ordered a pair in black and they fit great, then ordered the light blue I couldn’t even button or zip so returned and reordered but couldn’t button so took waist apart was so easy and took out a portion of the elastic, fit perfect. Ordered a pair on dark blue and same problem so took waist apart remove portion of elastic now all 3 👍. I will order again because I can sew to fit perfect if need be. The sizes run to small or too big for me. They do smell but wash then fine. They are very comfortable and I love the pockets. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I tried these as they're as they are 26" to length. When I tried it it's waistband is loose but can be remedied by using a belt. The length is good as I don't have to hem it. The downside is it's too wide in the hip and thigh (on myself). It didn't look good as it looks like overwhelmingly big. These are well made of heavyweight denim. Enough pockets for me. The seams are evenly sewn and the pocket flaps do not curl up after washing. Love these cargo pants. The material has some stretch to it but don’t end up with baggy looking knees after a few hours. The elastic in the waistband helps with comfort. They were true to size.     • Super Inconsistent Sizing/Fit Even within Same Color!

I was thrilled to find pants long enough and sensory friendly but the 34” in the light blue was too long. They didn’t have light blue in a 32” large so I ended up buying 32” in a darker wash and while it was the perfect length, the fit was so much baggier and not as soft. Both were Larges. I wanted a lighter wash but they didn’t have a light blue in a 32” so I bought the plain Blue and it wasn’t even 32” it was shorter but labeled 32” and looked like high waders on me. Wthhhh??! I have ordered 3 more in various washes and lengths to see if I hit some sort of jackpot since in theory these would be great. But so far it looks like I’ll be returning them all. Ughhh. On the quest again. Update: I ordered a Medium in the darker blue wash 32 inch inseam (even labeled as such), and while that one fits better, it’s SHORT! It’s 30” long. Omggggg. It’s literally a gamble what you’re going to get and after ordering like 6 pairs in various sizes and lengths, none were as advertised and my “Goldilocks” pair. One of the best jeans I have ever owned, they are very comfortable true to size and stretchy, now let’s talk about the stomach area comfort 💯%. I just can’t write enough about these jeans I saved them in my favorites. They are amazing.
